September FET...

I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself, but anyone planning on a September transfer?
I just finished my IVF cycle and had to freeze all due to risk of OHSS. Now, I'm waiting while my ovaries rest, start my month on bc in August, and prepare for my FET in Sept.
In the past, half of my frozen embies did not survive the thaw... I only have two now, so I'm hoping they both make it!

Hi there! I was just wondering if it would be too early to start a thread for September. I'm glad you started this!

I am excited to be hopefully cycling in September. I say hopefully because I have had one roadblock after another. I had surgery almost 4 weeks ago and have to take this time to recover.

I am for a this time!!!!

Tonya - It is such a long journey! I'm glad to hear that the surgery went well! Now with that out of the way, you have perfect place to grow some babies!!

Did I see 17 embies frozen?! That's great!!
I have two frozen embryos from my very first IVF (not very good quality) and two great quality embryos from my very last IVF that we just finished. I'm concerned that we'll maybe loose the great ones during the thawing process. Our record has been loosing about half during the thaw.

These next couple months are going to seem to take forever!

Yep 17 embies is correct. I think I borderline hyper-stimulated.

This is such a long process and it's so hard to wait for everything. At least I am developing patience.

I go to the RE tomorrow to decide on the next step and schedule.
Anyone know how to add one of those calendars onto the thread to keep track of dates, RE appointments and special events?

Stillwaiting- Good luck at your appt... KUP! I am not sure if you are talking about the 'signature' which you can edit, and add to easily or a Ticker.

As you can see, I have a signature that I update info. on, but not a ticker. To add a signature and info. I go to the private messages tab and then search for your name, and once there, click the edit signature tab on the left. Not sure if there is an eaiser method, but that is mine. Then you add what you want, and click save/update.

I just found an easier way to add/edit a signature.... go to the gray toolbar at the top of the page(near user sign in name) and click the "quick links" tab... then edit signature!

I think I will be doing FET in Sept. too, waiting now for my beta hcg to get to zero after m/c.

Just checking in...

Stillwaiting- I'm not sure how to add a calendar. Do you mean something to keep track of where everyone is in the group or for your own progress?

Godiva4me-so sorry to hear about your m/c. Here's hoping that September is your time.

I had my follow up with the RE last week. He is happy with my progress after surgery so now all I have to do is wait for AF in August to start so I can do another trial transfer and start the meds again. I won't be getting my actual calendar until August. I'm getting anxious.

I was thinking of doing acupuncture this cycle, but I probably won't be able to afford to go but maybe before transfer and after. I know it is early still, but is anyone else planning on doing anything different from last cycle (s)?

Godiva - So so sorry to hear about your m/c. I wish you all the luck with this next cycle!

Peabody - yes, a calendar where we can track everyone's status, I've seen it once before, but not sure how to add one.
Yay for the good news! Good to go!
I am trying acupuncture once a week.. we'll see how that goes. I've never tried it with any of my other cycles. (I got a discount for paying upfront for 10 treatments.. not sure if that would help you any, but just throwing it out there). I can hope that I'm not going to stress out about everything.... we can all say that before we're going through it, but it's impossible, isn't it?
for all of us!

Something I borrowed from another group...

Okay, I'm not sure if this will work, but I saw this in the July FET thread. I figured we could add our name under the appropriate heading when it's gets closer to the time to cycle.

I saw my RE today. He recommends doing a fresh IVF cycle in Sept. He says he's worried about the current embryos making it through the thaw.. he's not sure they are strong enough.
So I will not be joining you on your FET journey, but will be on stims at the same time.. I'd like still keep in touch! We'll still be on an incredible journey together!

It's great that your RE is trying to do everything possible to get you to your BFP. When will you be starting stims? I wish you a lot of luck and it will be nice to keep in touch during this journey.
