Confused about Frozen Blastocyst transfer? Help!
Hi There:
30 years old, unexplained infertility, 3 failed IUIs, failed IVF I am scheduled for a frozen transfer in Aug. I had a failed IVF in May this year, at which time we had one Grade A blastocyst transferred. This time around my husband and I thought we would ask for two frozen blastocysts to be transferred to compensate for the lower success rate with frozen transfers. However, my clinic just called and said we are not allowed to have have two blasts transferred! I am extremely confused as to why they said this. Thanks! Does anyone have experience with forzen embryo transfer and the protocol for number of embryos transferred? Initially we were told it would be our decision and know we are not being allowed to make that decision. |

Dreamer - why did they say you cannot have 2? Honestly you should fight them on it, because when we did our first FET, they told us 2 was our max, I said no way, I did 2 last time and it didn't work, I want 3. Luckily my RE was understanding.
I would call them back and ask why you cannot do 2. See what they say. Mel
