October FET

Anyone doing an October FET? I just found out I will be doing my transfer in October instead of Sept. I do not see a thread set up yet so I thought I would start one.

We are trying for #2 our DD was the result of a FET two years ago on Sept 27, 2007. We have 3 frozen Embryos left to thaw for this cycle and we are hoping to bring DD home a sibling.

Hoping to find some other wonderful ladies to share this experience with!

Hi ladies, I was just about to start an October FET thread, and here it already is! We did a fresh IVF in Feb/March of this year and it was a bust. I thought I was going to be ready for a FET this summer (I'm a teacher so I thought it would make sense to do it then), but when June rolled around I was still angry and too scared. Then we had vacation and I just wanted to be able to enjoy the summer without IF worries. I'm still scared this time around, but I'm finally getting excited. We have 3 totsicles so I'm not sure how many we'll transfer. In a way I'd like to do all 3 if they all survive the thaw since this will be our last shot (finances can only go so far). How many do you all think you'll do?

Looking forward to getting to know you and watching our group grow! And of course eagerly awaiting

for us all!!

Barbara, so happy to see you joining too. We will be transferring all three of our snowbabies that is what we did with DD and it worked out great IMO. I am a little worried about multiplies put at the same time I am not too worried.

HRMS- good to see you again. I got bumped to Oct as well. I knew it was going to happen but was hoping it wouldn't. My beta today was still 38 so my RE didn't think it would be a good idea to push a Sept FET. It is really only a matter of a few weeks so I am okay with it right now. Ask me in a few weeks when the others I *was* cycling with are doing ET and see how I feel then! LOL! Anyway, I am looking forward to going through the journey with all of you. We will be transferring 2 and my clinic has a 90- 95% thaw rate so I am hoping we only need to thaw 2! CD9 in my clinic is Oct 5 so most likely I am looking at a FET early Oct. It will be here before we know it. (Yeah right!)

Well - I just got pushed to November for my FET. RE just called and said they shut down for a couple weeks in October...I have heard of clinics doing that, have you all heard of that? I hate to wait more, but I guess that will make us want it even more probably! Good luck to you all - I'll have to start a November thread soon. Take care!

i will also be doing FET in oct.........my fresh cycle was cancelled due to OHSS and now recovering will be joing u guys soon

Barbara that sucks do they do some kind of cleaning I think I have heard of offices shutting down for some lab cleaning.

Let me tell you that my RE's main office completely moved in Oct of last year and I only found out when I looked them up online to answer a question I saw on here. I was thinking should they not have told me this or sent a note of some kind telling me where they are now keeping my snowbabies. They are in the same town but still I thought they should have let us know that they were moving since they have three of our embryos.

Hey Everyone,

I am also scheduled for Oct. Had my first IVF and got OHSS so had to cancel ET. Still trying to recover. I have never been that sick. Look forward to joining everyone soon.

Thanks Sandy I was trying to figure this out because the Sept group has one. But I cannot figure out how to add something to the calander can you help me?

I can try. I don't really understand it either. I had a hard time posting it. Okay click the link I posted and then click at the top left where it says "add events daily" Select the date you want to add, then press create and write in your text. This is where I get confused as I just tested it. I think then you have to view calender and click at the top right where it says My Calender, then I think you hit publish. I'm going to test this now. It really should have better instructions. I don't even know how I got it to post.

Okay I think what I did works. If you click on the "add events" and then view calender you can then click on all the months and see events. I hope it's not too difficult to use.

So when I copy the link now this is what it says.....hmmm not sure how I got it to come up as FETOctober.
