Single Embryo Transfer - Is This Possible?
Hey everyone!,
I'm trying to do FET through embryo adoption. I'm already decided to do a natural cycle because I have no ovulation issues but I'm worried about giving birth to multiples. I heard that doing a single embryo transfer for a fresh cycle has nearly identical success rates as implanting two or three. But I'm curious, can also be applied to frozen cycles too? Has anyone here done a frozen embryo transfer with only one embryo? If it helps, I believe the embryos are in the blast stage but I'm still waiting on the embryology's report so I'm not totally sure. Hi there
All three of my transfers were single embryo, first was a fresh, second a fresh, third a frozen. I got preggo on 2nd and 3rd attempt and am preggo 23W and 4 days. I was worry of multiples too due to my age and my doc was very conservative...I think the most they do in their office is 2 Good luck! Quote:

We had one embryo left over from the round of IVF we did to conceive our daughter. It was a 5 day blast and we transferred that 13 months after she was born and it was completely successful, we have a 15 month old son! Good luck to you!!

I am currently pregnant from a single FET. My first single FET did not work (but I was having some hormone issues) and the second one worked!! Yes, it is possible.
