Only 1, but 9cell grade1 (the best on their scales!) 9/28/09 3 rescue ICSI'd to freeze 10/3,5,7/09 BETA#1: 3.6, technically a , #2: 2.43, #3: 0... chemical pregnancy (resulting in m/c #2)10/12/09: return visit with RE...talk about FET, etc!!! 11/6/09 decided to start another fresh IVF cycle once AF comes in the next few days! the frozen will stay frozen.  2 kitty furbabies: Emmie-female, Spooky-male"IN THE END IT WILL ALL WORK OUT...IF IT'S NOT WORKED OUT, IT'S NOT THE END!" highly recommend: Conception Chronicles http://www.my.calendars.net/septemberivf

they say it's because it's so high they don't need to do another. and they didn't test the progesterone level...does that sound right? |

Thank you all SO much!!! I called Ob this am and begged for a second beta....they told me i really don't need it, but i explained it will make me feel better to get it and see if everything is progressing the way it should - - so I'm going this afternoon
 This is still just so surreal!!Meg - you are a much better person than me....i hate to admit this but I probably would not have missed the opportunity to try so i give you TONS of kudos - - just for that kindness you HAVE to get your this cycle!!!!!

WOW! How amazing to get a
naturally wewantababy - whooo hooo!!!!! what a great number too. Nothing like the old fashion way  and thanks everyone for the  I'm looking forward to having some women to go through this with.I'm waiting for my  and hoping it is coming this weekend... we'll be thawing our 4 frozen embies if all goes well (my only frozen embies). Me: 39, low ovarian reserve, thin lining and clotting issues, low responder DH: 37 and ok Injectables and IUI x6 all IVF #1 May 2009 - cancelled with only 2 eggs IVF #2 June 2009 miracle 12 resting follicles retrieved 10 eggs ICSI and 8 fertilized! 3 transfered (2 8cell, 1 7 cell -3dt), 4 frozen (6 and 7cell embies), one didn't make it. ptd14 but low HCG of 30 but doubled fine! 6 weeks - HB 96bpm 7 weeks - HB 126bpm and growing "perfectly" 8 weeks - missed miscarriage and D&C (August 14th) tests post D&C show some "minor" clotting issues - will have to take blood thinnners with future tries FET #1 - cancelled due to poor uterine lining 28/10 FET #2 - 17 resting follicles (estrogen priming from failed FET) so converted to IVF 12 retrieved, 8 mature and 7 fertilized with ICSI, 5 made it to 3dt. 3 transfered (assisted hatching), 2 frozen

finally came Sat. night around 10:00, which makes today day 3 of my cycle and the day I start bc pills!!! And away we go............

LOL my nephew was 3 weeks the day we left...will be 4 weeks tomorrow. he was premature...born Oct 8th and not supposed to until first week of Nov. So a little small (5lb 12oz) but in great health and VERY strong! we had gone down when their other son was about the same # of weeks old (he's now 5 yo) and i did the night-time feedings then as well. it was a great bonding time...just need to keep going to visit as he gets older to keep that bonding up! i, too, believe all in due time and that there's a right time for everything AND that we do NOT determine that right time...as much as we'd like. LOL...i just forget those things some times. anywho, CONGRATS and BEST WISHES to DH and YOU!!! HUGE  for this success of yours! we're here rootin you on!

Tryinhard – Schedule of events yet? Can’t wait to hear your game plan. Meg – You hear from the RE? Are you a go?? Did they give you a nice deal? We are getting closer ladies! Can't wait to hear what everyone has planned for the next month. Don't forget to add to our calendar... tweener_fet: October 2009 AFM - I plan on taking it easy after ET. I've been trying to get a majority of my X-mas shopping done early and avoid the crowds (and H1N1) I've been doing pretty well so far. I just have nooo idea what to get DH. I'm all about planning ahead this time.... I even already have a bed rest date for after ET with a girlfriend to watch dvd's of greys anatomy all day. Q: What do your RE's suggest after ET? Back to normal, reduced stress, or bed rest? Mine recommends 2 days of bed rest, not including day of ET.

another surprise for this board
We must be the "good luck" group...I have another interesting story after my AF showed up on Thursday.
So you've all probably saw that I have DOR (highest FSH has been 13.9 and I'm 39) and I usually only have 3-4 follicles each month. The one IVF I did, I called my "miracle" cycle because I had 12 resting follicles  I went for my day 2 check up with my RE and what do you know... I have 17 resting follicles !!!!! WTF hahaha - rediculous.Now, how did that happen? my RE says that sometimes when you are given so much estrogen (my failed FET last month) that it "primes" the ovaries..well - I would have to say it sure does . Anyway - long story short - we've decided to go with an IVF this month because I just can't bare to "waste" 17 possible little embies when my time appears to be running out. I will find out on Tuesday when I go back for my next appointment if I'm responding to the meds or not please, please, please... I think I'm still in shock and have everythingcrossed for sure.I will let you all know what's what - I've had my share of disappointments and so I'm just praying that these little folli's wanna grow for me. still waiting - may AF be here sooon (I tried to put stuff on the calendar but couldn't figure it out). Megr and Tryin hard - hope all is going well for you two waiting to begin! take care everyone and lots of M

He is the old child right now so is spoiled rotten with toys so DH and I go easy with toys for him and get him something little along with a savings bond (he'll appreciate that when he goes to by his first car!!) AFM: after tons of research and agonization and talks with my OB, RE and Dr at work (all encouraged me to get it) i decided to get the H1N1 vaccine. We had a family member get diagnosed with confirmed H1N1 10 days ago (luckily I have been so busy I was never exposed to him, BUT I was exposed to others who were around him). I realized there is such a high chance of getting it, especially while  . UGH....I'm just hoping I did the right thing - - I've read so much conflicting information, but in the end figured I'd do what 3 drs recommended

Everythingcrossed – 17! This is the ‘good luck’ group! I am really hoping those 17 follies grow and grow for you. Switching to an IVF sounds like the prefect plan. I wish you all the luck in the world. Please keep us updated.
WeWant – I’ve been toying with the idea of the vaccine too. I’m still on the fence. I give you credit for going for it. It’s scary not knowing what to do. But, they say it’s most dangerous to the pregnant ones. Good for you. Maybe one of these days I’ll get the courage too. AFM – AF here. Still trucking along on my lupron. Going out to enjoy the day now. (high 60’s in Chicago in November! I’m loving it!!)
