I hope I can join you guys. I did a round of Ivf in september and I got pregnant. Unfortunately, we didn't see a heartbeat until after 7 weeks and the baby was small. Last Thursday we found out we had lost our little bean. I'm still very sad and I am still waiting to miscarry. I am having a d&c on Wednesday. But, we have 4 little frozen embryos, and the re says we will probably be ready in January. My biggest worry is them surviving the thaw since we have such a small amount. They were all perfect grade so hopefully that will help them. Right now I am trying to concentrate on what we have to look foreward to and not what I have lost. Good luck to you all!

Hi, I know this is a hard time for you and nothing anyone will say will make it better. I just wanted to offer my support. We just went through our first IVF cycle and no little angels for us. It's been tough for me, but my husband has been wonderful as well as my mom. I fell in love with my two little angels the day the embriologist called us and continued to fall more in love with them as the days went by. I didn't even believe the lab results last Tuesday when we got the news of the BFN, but I got my AF yesterday and it's heavy. All I've been able to do is cry and continue to have faith in God. We are thinking about starting our 2nd cycle in January too. If you don't mind please keep me posted and maybe we can go through our next cycle together. Many blessings your way.

So sorry for your loss Amy. I understand your apprehension about the amount of embryos left. We only have 4 as well and my doctor has been preparing us for the possibility that we could get ready for January and have no one left to transfer. It's so hard to hope again.
Praying for Miracles. I love that tag. I am also very sorry for your loss. It's so wonderful to hear about your love for you little ones. I too fell in love with both sets the moment I heard from the embryologist. Lying in the resting room after the transfer and feeling so full of hope and love for each preciouse individual. It's so hard to explain to anyone how I can love and mourn someone I never saw in person. But I see their picture like no one else does. My brother called them bubbles. To everyone else their picture looks like bubbles. But to me they were my babies and they were perfect and beautiful and I still cry over them.
I'm trying to get emotionally ready for January. I look forward to the journey with support from you all. I'm praying that we all get to keep our babies this time.

Thank you for the welcome. I am doing alright right now. I work with some wonderful people and they have been very respectful of my feelings. Instead of bombarding me with sympathies and question it's just hugs and smiles. My d&c is tomorrow and I think once that is over I should be able to move past this. I am looking foreward to January, really praying that my strongest little embys make it through. Have you guys done an fet before?

Amy.
I've done two FETs. One natural cycle and one 6 weeks meds cycle. Every clinic is different on what they recommend.
Neither of mine ended positive, but I'm hopeful for our third.
Please let me know if you have any questions. It helps me to feel like I'm helping other people.
I'm glad your doing okay. Feel free to mourn their loss as deeply as you feel you need to. I had to go to a counselor after the first loss. I was a little better prepared emotionally for the second. I still cry sometimes, but I know my babies are in a better place. Better than being frozen and even better than life.
I'll be thinking about you and hope your d&c goes smoothly and your able to get settled and ready for another try.
God Bless.

I have also done 2 FET's and one succesful fresh IVF. I feel I know more than I ever really wanted to know about cycles and reproduction LOL. now if I knew the secret to making these babies stick for a frozen transfer I would know it all.

What a wonderful group of woman to go through this with. You are all so knowledgable! I had my d&c today. It went very well. My Ivf RE and my IUI Re both did the D&C and they are both wonderful, and supportive plus the nurses were so sweet and sympathetic. I really feel like I can move past this now and look foreward to January. I just need to get back on a normal cycle and I'm there.

I had my sono hystogram today and everything looked great. They said I could start with my next cycle but it depends upon whether I can pay before then. I have to pay for everything before they will start meds. so we will see. I am getting nervous and excited.

That's great Jennifer, hope everything keeps looking good! Good luck We have to pay up front for everything too. It was hard to pay that much twice, but we've committed to our little snowbabies so we're shelling out the big check again next month.
Keep us posted on your progress.
I won't have anything to do (other than pay money) till the beginning of January. So it's nice to see others moving along on their process.

Hello there ladies.

I would like to join your group!!!
Looks like I will be doing a FET in January. I was on the sept IVF forum (hello waitingandwaiting) and we got pregnant for the first time since TTC in 2 years. I had some bleeding in the middle of week 5 and when I went for blood and sonogram, we learned my HCG was going down :-( So I had the miscarriage the day after halloween. After taking a day off of work and crying in DH's arms all day he never left my side, I feel a lot better. We have learned something from this experience that we didn't know before, we can get pregnant, so we are happy about that at least.

So, we only have one snowbaby :-( But it is a day 5 blast, so we will give it a shot, why not!! If not, we will take a month or two off then try one more IVF. If that doesn't work, we will be done for a while to save more money !!!

I have to wait for AF to arrive, then I start birth control. I could have started birth control after my HCG went down to 0, (as of this past friday) but they close the operating suite for 2-3 weeks in december for cleaning. So, they said I can start if I really wanted too and they can shift the cleaning dates for me, or I can wait for my period, then start. We choose to wait, so looks like we will be having a early or mid jan transfer! (depending on when AF shows her ugly face)

I saw some post about your mind making you think you are pregnant, and you are so right. I had that on more then several occasions trying naturally, each month I really thought I was pregnant. When I did IVF in Sept and was taking the progesterone shots, my RE said those shots mimic pregnancy. And it did! I started it a week before the transfer and I have to say, I had sore boobs, cramps and couldn't sleep through the night anymore and I didn't even have the transfer yet. So, not only do you trick yourself when you are not on the shot, but the shots really make you feel it. So between our minds and shots, we must REALLY feel crazy, but trust me, you are not!! Let's not even get into the hormones making us crazy too!!!! Yikes! :-)

Good luck everyone!!!! I am 'ing for everyone!!!

I would like to join too. I am in the process of miscarrying right now. I actually started last night and now I just have a really heavy period, really heavy. I'm nervous about doing an FET. I'm scared of dissapointment again. My dr. wants to start me on Lupron this month and my FET should be in January.I only have 2 snowbabies so I hope they both make it after thawing. Here's to all this time and to them sticking !!

to all the new people.
Nicole, I'm sooooo sorry. There are just no words to ease that pain. Praying good things for us all in January. I'm feeling apprehensive about the possibility for another loss as well. But anything is possible and it can work in our favor as well.
Holding on to hope and good possibilities.

This miscarriage is taking forever. Sorry if TMI, but I am passing huge clots every 30 min. or so. Has anyone had this happen and not get a D&C? My dr. didn't say I needed one, but I'm starting to think I might if my bleeding doesn't slow down. I put in a call to him, but haven't heard any response. This sucks!
