Mine was in the first few weeks but because of all the hormone shots my lining was huge. I passed giant clots for 2 days and was in severe pain. I've never gone through childbirth but it felt to me like contractions might feel.
A heating pad helped relax the muscles so things seemed to pass through faster.
If your concerned you should talk to your doc. But remember, even though we have problems conceiving, it doesn't mean that everything will go wrong. A woman's body is meant to go through this process if necessary so unless your doc recommends it, it's not bad to let nature take it's course.
I hope it lets up for you soon, its a terrible thing to go through emotionally as well as physically.

I had a miscarriage naturally the day after halloween, but I wasn't too far along. I was 6 weeks when it happened. Mine lasted 4-5 days and it was all clots. It was so gross.

I think all the books say if you are bleeding though a pad in 30 mins you should go to the doctor, but I think that is if you are further along. I had tons of clots, but I wasn't bleeding through pads in 30 mins. I had horrible cramps the first day, then they went away and it was all blood and clots the rest of the days.

I hope you feel better soon!!!!! I agree, it totally sucks!!!

Well it's been an eventful couple of days. I just got back from the hospital because my dr. thought I was going to need a blood transfusion, luckily I didn't. He wanted me to stay overnight, but I was feeling better so I didn't. This miscarriage is alot worse than my last and my levels didn't even get that high this time. Well I'm glad everything finally seems to be slowing down. I'm kind of glad my clinic is closed for the holidays because I would have just started right away with my FET and now my body can have a rest.

I am planning on doing a FET in January. I have 3 frosties that we are going to thaw and transfer all that make the thaw. They all do. I just came out of a fresh DEIVF cycle where I received a and two positive betas. At the first ultrasound they saw nothing. So heartbreaking. They determined it was a chemical pregnancy. They recommended I get a saline sonogram just to make sure everything is alright. I will have that on Wednesday then they want me to take a month off and then start the cycle for the FET. I will be doing acupunture this time. This FET works.

Hey Everyone!! Can I join you guys?? I was just chosen as the recipient of donor embryos so I don't know for sure how long the process takes but I would be thrilled if I could do an FET in January!!

Are any of you guys doing anything to prepare your bodies for the FET? I have been doing my normal working out and before I was even chosen I have lost 50 lbs so this has definitely motivated me to stay on track and lose more before the transfer!!

So glad to find people to endure the wait with!!

I had the saline sonogram twice and it was a breeze. They don't tell you but the water may stay there for a little while and suprise you later I also experienced some achyness, but only the first time. The second time was really uneventful.
Stephanie, that's awesome that you were chosen! What a huge blessing. Please stick around and enjoy the journey with us.
I have been so blessed with this forum. I didn't even know about it for my first FET, I'm so glad to have people to talk to now.

Hello everyone,
I am planning to do an FET in mid-January. Sounds like some of you might be in the same boat. I was kind of disappointed I couldn't do it in December but the clinic closes for a while for the holidays unfortunately. We have 2 frozen blasts at the clinic we are using so I hope both make it out of the thaw! Good luck to everyone!

I wanted to get started sooner as well. My clinic closed for the holidays November 8th thru December. It was disappointing, but it is nice to have the holidays worry free. Looking forward to January

Hello Eveyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. I have nothing to report, just waiting for to show so i can start the birth control pills. According to the internet, 2 weeks after a miscarriage you should ovulate and 2 weeks later you should get . So if that is correct, I have 2 more weeks before she starts.

So, I hope everyone is doing well!!!! The waiting to start really stinks!!!!!

Anyone have their protocol yet, my place gave me a sheet, no dates yet until I get my period, but this is what they said I would be doing.

Birth Control
Lupron (in the tummy)
Delestrogen (intramuscular injection)
Progesterone (intramuscular injection)
Medrol (pill)
Cipro (pill)

Hi everyone! I too am hoping for our FET in Jan. I became pregnant after our 1st IVF but nothing ever showed on ultrasounds and had 3 rounds of methotrexate, then a D&C. It's been 3 weeks since D&C and still no . My RE and OBGYN want me to take the holidays off to heal then start back in Jan with BCP's. My cycles have always varied. There's no telling when AF will arrive. I'm hoping for 2 good periods before I start back.

We have 2 blasts that made it to freeze and I pray they both make it to thawl. We will put back both and pray for the best. We've been TTC for over 9 years and we want this so badly.

hey Lisa_kev.... i hope your comes soon so you can be on your way to your FET. That is great you have 2 blasts, I wish I did, I only have 1.

Just found out today that I am actually able to do my cycle in December. FET is tenativly set for Dec. 15.
