March 2012 FET

Hi,

I am scheduled for an FET in the month of March, and I am wondering whether anyone would like to join me on this journey.

Just a brief introduction- I have been TTC for almost 5 years. I have two large fibroid (subserous so not obstructing the uterus), blocked right tube, have undergone ATT for genital TB, been diagnosed with high NK cells and am currently on LIT. This would be FET#2 for me, IVF#1 and FET#1, ended in chemical with low betas.

I am currently on the Luperide cycle and my medication would begin in feb, which means that the ET would happen mid-march.

I would be happy to have somebody to cycle with , so do join in

FET in March 2012

Hi Sweetwhisper and Kate,

I am also scheduled for a FET during the middle of March 2012. I conceived during my 3rd IVF in 2010 and we had 2 embryos frozen during that cycle. We will transfer those remaining embryos in March in what will probably be our last try.

I look forward to sharing this roller coaster ride with others as I know how tumultuous this process is.

When my cycle starts the beginning of February, I will start BCP and then follow with Estrace and Lupron. I also did acupuncture during the only cycle that ever worked before and I will be doing that again.

Good luck to you both! I look forward to hearing how your cycles are going! Tracy

Hello

Hi ladies. I am scheduled to transfer in the beginning of March. My embryos have been donated by a woman that I met on these boards 2 years ago. She and her husband have successfully had 2 children and wanted to donate the remaining 3 snowbabies. It was a complete blessing and although I have worries due to my age, we are going through with FET in March. This will be a first for me, as I never was able to produce enough to freeze when going through IVFs. I would like to have some "friends" to go through this with

March 12th

Hi everyone!

My name is Sunshine. I will be doing FET#1 march 12th. My 1st cycle was cancelled in November for low response and ovarian cysts. 2nd cycle in December resulted in 30 eggs! Of those 30 7 made it. We transferred 3 on day 3 and it resulted in a chemical. We will be transferring the 4 frosties on March 12th. All 4 are grade ab blasts (5day)...

So glad to see more cycling in March!

Sunshine

Hi I am going to quietly hope I can be in the March group. I have 2 donated embryos. One BB 5 day and one U 5 day. I just took my last provara pill yesterday to get my . Then the usual 3 day dw and u/s to start my cycle. I will have to be on estrace longer than most to get my levels up high enough. I have a hormonal dissorder called Kallmann Syndrome where my body doesn't produce any hormones.

Welcome!!

Sunshine and Babbymoma!!

It's good to see our thread growing. It would be fantastic to be cycling together.

just wondering if any of you have ever taken Tab Metformin? This med makes me feel breathless, tired and slightly nauseous. Wondering if anybody has been experiencing this with their preliminary meds??

Welcome Babbymoma, I am also working with donated embryos and hope that this cycle works for both of us.

Sweetwhisper, I have not heard of that med. I hope it is just a case where you have to get used to it and it gets better for you.

I am starting to get so nervous. When we first started this IVF journey, I was 38 turning 39. Now I just turned 41 and for some reason am very nervous about the age part. I am using donated embryos from a young woman who has successfully had two children from this same "batch" but my concern is more about my health. Ironically, Dr. Oz is having a show tomorrow about this very topic. Not that I would base my choice on a tv doctor, but I will sure be watching.

I don't believe anything Dr Oz says. Not everybody can live a perfectly healthy life.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to do my second FET in mid March. I have had three consecutive pregnancies, and three consecutive miscarriages. My second FET was last February, we transferred 3 and I became pregnant with 1. I miscarried at 8 weeks. The baby's heart stopped between week 7 and 8. (I work at a hospital and had an ultrasound at week 7 on a Friday from a co-worker that showed the heartbeat and when I went that following Monday to the doctor for my 8 week U/S, the heart stopped. That's how I know when it happened.)

Anyway this time around my doctor has me on a Long Lupron Protocol which is different than my other two transfers. Also this time around my RE wants to inject the HcG directly into my uterus the day of transfer before transfering the embryos. He said this is still a "clinical trial" but he has had success with the HcG injection in the uterus.

So far he has tested me for RPL and everything has came back fine although my Protein C was low, so he's keeping me on the baby aspirin if I do end up pregnant. My husband and I just had bloodwork for chromosome abnormalities this week, but that takes a month for the results. So far there's no answer to my miscarriages. Although I feel it has to do with me stopping my baby aspirin at 6 weeks. and possible caused a clot because of it. But that's just my personal feelings.

Anyway, I wish everyone the best of luck and hopefully we all get our this time around!m

Hi ladies!

I'm planning on a fet in early march. We've got four frozen embryos, and are planning on transferring one or two. Still deciding on that one. I am still breastfeeding, but am planning to stop in the next few weeks. My doc said it was ok to do the transfer while still nursing, but I don't feel comfortable with it. I know it can cause uterine contractions, so that makes me a bit nervous. I'm doing a natural cycle, so no meds though! I've got my period back when my daughter was 6 months (she's 10.5 months now). My next period should start in about 2 weeks, so I will start cycle monitoring then.

Good luck everyone!
