It might be a little early for this! But, I'm excited about this. I'm in the middle of my second IVF that is not going to work out at all now. They are just going to reterieve the embies and fertilitize them, and freeze my poor babies. They found a Polyp so I have to get the removed with a 4 week recovery. So that should put me right around December for a snow baby!

I have been waiting for this thread to start! I am currently just waiting for my first appointment to discuss more details as we already have the transfer date set. I have started taking Metformin and just waiting for to start BCP!

We just got our calendar and I have a FET scheduled for December 7.

We used donor eggs for our fresh cycle and had 7 embies left to use.

hi ladies...glad there is a december thread. I've been lingering on the Oct & Nov FET threads since I was waiting for my FET date. Unfortunately, the doc has me down for Dec 3rd due to scheduling conflicts. (I was hoping for November).

I had my ER on 9/11 and due to OHSS we decided not to transfer on day 5. I'm still coming to terms with the FET date being so far out but I'm praying the time flies by. (more about me in my sig)

~Twilight~ - looks like we're only a few days apart in our FET dates.

rewertsx2 - hope you get to start BCP soon...it's nice to start meds bc it makes you feel like you're that much closer huh. When is your FET scheduled for?

Hello! This is my very first post Our FET is scheduled for Dec 14. We have had 2 failed IVF's and 1 failed FET. We did Mini-IVF egg retrieval in Sept and the transfer is Dec.
I am very anxious for Dec and happy I will have you ladies to talk with!

I have my FET scheduled for Dec 7, I don't know much more because I have my initial appointment set for Oct 16. But when I scheduled my initial appointment, they wanted to build my calendar so they set my date already. I've never done an FET since we were successful with the fresh cycle, so I truly have no idea what to expect (other than they told me this would be way easier than the IVF was!!!)

Mini-IVF is a minimal stimulation protocol (I think only some doctors/clinics to it). I took a lot less meds, they expect to get fewer eggs but they are supposed to be better quality. I took 50mg of Clomid every day (for about a week and a half) and only 3 doses of 150iu of Follistim. With the Mini, since you take Clomid, you have to wait 3 months to do the transfer since the Clomid thins your lining.
My doctor said the normal is to end up with 1-3 embryos, we got 4 so we were really happy!!

Hi everyone!! We are scheduled for our first FET on 12/6/12. We did 2 fresh IVF cycles and will be using the embryos from our second IVF. Our 1st IVF was unsuccessul and although our 2nd IVF was successful, our son Hudson was born way too early at 23.5 weeks and passed away 11 days later. There are alot of emotions we have with this upcoming FET, but we are looking forward to starting the process again. Hudson was our first child, so we are not only grieving him, but grieving the loss of not being parents. I'm looking forward to starting this journey and keepign updated with everyone. My RE has me tentatively scheduled for an FET at the beginning of Dec, pending the results of my PGS testing. A couple more days until they test and freeze my embabies. But Dr expects 5 or 6 frosties (but is hoping for 8). He is very unsure how many normals I will have given my pregnancy history. So we are praying we get some normals and can move forward in Dec. So happy to join this group.

arrived so I got my schedule! My tentative FET date is Dec 7th!!! Unfortunately all the decent close by hotels are booked up that weekend (there must be something going on) I secured a reservation at a less than desirable hotel, but I am still looking for something better. Even that hotel was charging 50% more than usual on that weekend. Crazy!

Still waiting for my PGS report... about a week to go. & for some normal healthy embies!

BABYDUSTPLS1 - Time is DRAGGING!! I'm ready to at least start medications so I feel like I'm at least doing something. Nov 16 is when I begin Lupron injections - so I have a little over a month to go still.
