Tanya, glad to have you here!!! I have never heard of estrogen injections- have you done those each time? I was so excited not to have to take Lupron this time- so no shots for me.

I'm having a heavy feeling in my uterus, I don't feel crampy or anything. I hope it's that lining getting thick. I spotted one time getting ready for FET so I'm nervous about that! But then I tell my self I could go 6 months or so without AF so quit getting worried.

I am only taking 5 units of lupron which isn't bad, but I feel bad for DH because I have been so moody lately. Waiting for AF to come too...
I haven't taken estrogen injections before. I took estrace the last FET.
The cramping is probably from your uteran lining growing. I know I always felt that way. Stay positive!

I am also having a FET this month. I am only taking 75 iu of Gonal F at the moment. I have a dr appt monday so hopfully I will know more about when the ET will be.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!! I am very excited for all of us, I know this will be our month!

I have my U/S and BW today at 1pm so I'm excited. Looking forward to next Friday's transfer, keeping everything crossed!!!!

I am only going to transfer two at a time with Assisted Hatching, my doctor will not transfer more that two at any one time. He highly recommended the AH, something to do with being over a certain age (I'm 39) and he likes to do it with all FET's dues to the thickening of the shell during the freezing process.

Hello Everyone. I am new to your board. I am also scheduled for a Sept FET. I received my U/S today & it is scheduled for the 21st!
I am reaching out to all of you, because after having a successful IVF cycle resulting in the birth of our now 2.3 year old daughter I didn't think that I would have such an emotional commitment to this cycle & therefore didn't anticipate my reactions to the insensitiveness of my fertile friends. I guess what I am trying to say is that I can see how again 'cyber friends' can be more supportive then your 'real' friends since they know what you are going through.
Also I want to share that my biggest concern with FET is that my blastocyst won't be transferable on game day. We have 3 frozen...has anyone had 0 survive the thawing process?

Some crappy day - Diagnosed MF Infertility - 6 million sperm count
April - Consultation with IVFNJ (love them!)
May 2003 - 1st IVF cycle resulted in an ectopic
Sept 2004 - 2nd IVF cycle successful - 3 blastocyst leftover for freezing
June 2005 - Baby Girl Born ... 2 hour unmedicated labor. The universe paid back for all those proj shots that day. Though it was painful it was fast & furious. Best night of my life!
Aug-Sep 21st - FET cycle (I've been treated with the pill, then lupron..,delestrogen & tomorrow I start proj & cepro!

My US didn't go so well. Not bad but not good. My lining is still at a 6, same as Monday. It looks perfect with the layers, but not thick enough. The Dr said not to get discouraged and bumped up my meds. I go in again Monday morning. I'm so bummed out and I still have that achey heavy feeling, but there was no reason for it on the US. I held in the tears and went and taught. UGHHHH!!!!!!! Can it really get thick enough over the weekend?



Carina, I too am amazed at how emotional I am feeling about this go around. I have a son from FET and we weren't even sure if we really wanted to have another and thought well let's try if it works it works now it's more than that. Good luck

all the newcomers to the Sept. FET thread!

Carina - last cycle they had to thaw 4 of our blasts to get 2 that survived....I was a little bummed. However, Rileyp, a member with a transfer in Aug only had one frozen embryo and she is now pregnant! You just never know. It seems like most have pretty good luck with thawing.

Gina, I'm surprised by your results. I couldn't believe you were already at 6 earlier in your cycle. I'm sure the increased meds will help. Do you know what your RE's cut off point is? My RE says 7 mm. You could possibly be only 1mm off - it can still happen. I will be thinking of you and your family. Keep us updated!

Hang in there Mom2davis, your increase in meds should make a difference by Monday, mine were upped and my lining has shot up to 13mm!!! Keep positive, good things happen then.

This week is gonna be ours for the taking girls, lets all keep the faith and help each other through, ok?

Kari- My RE didn't say what the cut off would be, but 8 is what they want. I think they wanted to wait till monday to decide. You started this FET right after the last, so I'm guessing that you didn't go back on BCP. I'm kinda of preparing myself and was wondering how soon they would start a new cycle. I know this will be your last!

My RE does FETs back to back without BCPs.

If this attempt does not work I think we might be able to afford another IVF attempt. If so, I'm guessing then I'll be back on BCP for a month or two before stims.

Thanks for the welcome! This is our first FET.

I am crossing all of my fingers and toes for all of you too. It is all so nerve racking!

I imgaine we'll start looking into adoption if our FET cycle is unsuccessful. We are lucky -- I just got a job last year in MA that covers IVF. The IVF cycles are just so emotionally draining....and hard with work (I am a teacher).

Of course I am dying to POAS - as awful as it is.

Hi girls. I think I've popped into say hi before, but it was a while ago. I will have my FET on Tuesday. My u/s showed a lining of 10 and a 21mm cyst which they aren't concerned about because they aren't stimulating the ovaries this month.

I am really concerned that I had my last AF 21 days ago and ET isn't until Tuesday. I feel like AF is on it's way already and I haven't even had the transfer yet?? My CD1 wasn't until day 4 of my period which still doesn't make sense to me. They said it had to do with the embryologists calendar and only doing two thaws per day. I feel like it's too late in the cycle for me?? I am only on estrace and PIO this month besides Medrol and Tetracycline.
