Question HELP! First ever BFP but low,low beta??

My beta is only 12.27 (from our recent FET). Has anyone else had a beta this low that turned into a successul pregnancy? I go back Sunday for a 2nd beta. I am just wondering if there is any hope at all?

My beta was 9 days after a 5 day transfer (frozen). I am already down to one tube, so I pray that its not ectopic. What symptoms did you have? Did your beta continue to rise? So sorry you had to go through that. Good luck and thanks for responding.

low beta

Samantha

My first beta was only 14.8. Please check out my signature below. I just wanted to say that it is very possible that you have a late implanter like I did. Now my late implanter is a beautiful healthy lively little girl. I hope this iwll be the case for you as well. It is very much of a possibility. Good Luck!

Just wanted to say thank you for the encouragement!!! I went today and my beta went up to 34. I am so tempted to get excited but I know its still early and my numbers are low. I just hope they keep doubling like they are supposed to. I go back Tuesday morning.

Ara - Congrats on your pregnancy. She will be here soon!! Best Wishes!!

Congratulations on your rising numbers! I see you tested positive for antiphospholid antibodies. If you don't mind me asking, are you on heparin or anything else to deal with that?

Once again congrats on your !!

russelle36 - Yes, I am doing heparin injections twice a day. I started the heparin at the very beginning of my cycle, even before the transfer. I think that may be what made the differnce for us. We have been trying for over 6 years, and never had as much as a slight positive until now. I just hope it sticks. I noticed on your signature that you recently had a miscariage. I am so sorry for your loss. From what I've read when you are positive for anti-phospholipid antibodies, there is about an 80% success rate (for carrying full term) when being treated with blood thinners. Hope that helps. Good luck in your future endeavors. You will be in my thoughts.

Samantha

Samantha,

I just wanted to check in and see how you are doing. I am in a similar boat today. I had my 12p5dt beta this morning and it came back at 85. My RE told me he wouldve liked to see it over 100. I was wondering what day transfer you did and how many days past the transfer were your tests. I dont think I saw it in your signature. Thanks for your help. I hope things are going well in your pregnancy! Congrats it seems you have been trying for a VERY long time.
