I ate the pineapple but did not get a BFP. I think anything is worth trying though. I think I am going to try acupuncture on this FET cycle...

I didn't do the pineapple (gives me canker sores) but I can't see that for most people it would do any harm. I'm definitely doing acupuncture again.

I did the pinapple and acupuncture with both IVF cycles 1st ended in a chemical preg and 2nd with a beautiful boy! Anything is worth a shot. I also love pinapple. My acupuncturist (sp?) told me to eat pineapple.

Hey!!! I would like to join in on here too. I have done my 1st IVF and I did get pregnant but when I had my ultrasound there was nothing there. I have been taking a couple of months off just to relax and get over the M/C. I'm not sure when we will be doing our FET but it will be in the next couple of months. My RE just told me to call whenever I got ready.

Thanks everyone for your replys. I have two fresh pineapples sitting on my counter ready to be eaten in a week. I go for an u/s and b/w on Friday, and then comes transfer time next week

Jill, it sounds like you and I had very similar experiences. I got the BFP on my first IVF and my numbers were low but going up. They did an ultrasound and only saw a tiny dot that was way too small - he wasn't even sure it was anything. I stopped the PIO and am waiting for my beta numbers to return to zero.

Irena- Well glad you got to check off another thing from the list. I am doing pretty good. I did have a question for anyone who may have an answer. AF arrived last Monday. Last Friday it was pretty light and almost done, but I had a hysteosonogram done and I have very light spotting since. Almost nothing today. Question is... Do you think because of the timing of the hysteosonogram that it's the reason for the ongoing spotting? This never happends to me so I assume it is. It's as though I got a power wash preformed Hehehe

The hsg seems a very likely reason for the spotting. Glad that you got everything washed out and ready for the embies!

Yay, my beta is down to 5! That means no lingering problems from the previous cycle and I have a June 2nd appoint with my RE to plan my FET cycle. Hope we can do the natural one. If my cycle follows its normal length, it'll be starting very soon after the apt, so it would be good to not have to quick-order meds!

Sorry I've been gone the past few days. My DH took me out of town for Tuesday night to celebrate my birthday...it was so nice to get away!

Ryan - Glad to hear that the spotting has gone away - I remember spotting for a couple days after my HSG. Yes, the Estradiol is the same as the Estrace, and it sounds like everyone takes for a different length of time, which is reassuring to me!

Samanatha - So you took Estrace for 19 days before ET? That sounds closer to what I'm doing...about 24 days before. I'm trying not to worry about it too much!

Irena - Your overstimulation symptoms sure sounded familar! Good luck on your appt on 6/2 - it's coming right up!

Niki - Congrats on your TUPO (triplets until proven otherwise!) Yay!

Jill! We're looking forward to having all kinds of good news this summer!

Hi Ladies, Well arrived on 5/21 and started estrace in the pm. Does anyone know what the side effects are for the estrace? My cycle day one is tomorrow so I will be on the estrace for 22 days prior to FET. FET will be on June 11th my embies make the thaw. Started acupuncture today. It is so relaxing.
