I had my RE appointment today and it was very encouraging. I'm going to do a natural FET cycle, so next cycle just watching for my LH surge and also some u/s to check how things are going. Then I'll do PIO. for a low-med cycle! I'm anxious to get started!

Hi everyone,
We are moving on to a FET after a BFN 2 weeks ago. We were able to squeeze into the next cycle. So, I am on bcps and lupron. The et looks like it will be June 30th. I am excited but so so so scared. The BFN was awful and I don't really want to potentially put us through it again. It is difficult to be upbeat about putting the lesser quality embies back when the great ones didn't stick?! I am trying to be hopeful. We froze 4 and will put back all that look good. Please for us. Thanks to all of you for "being there." I couldn't imagine going through this without you.

Thats awesome you get to do a natural cycle- I didn't even know that was an option! Good luck!!!

It is pretty awesome! Basically you monitor your body until you've naturally ovulated and then a few days after that, they implant the embies! The PIO might not be necessary, but I want to do it in case.

One thing I learned today at the apt that I was surprised by is that they freeze the embies in sets of two! So you have to decide ahead of time what you're going to do if they thaw a pair and only one makes it - will you thaw another pair and possibly put back three or just go with one? If this cycle turns out to be as simple as it sounds, we're planning on doing just one in that scenario. We want to put back two but would rather do an extra FET cycle than put back three. (I don't really want multiples and DH is mortally afraid of them. )

My calendar depends on when AF starts, and the doc says that could be confused by my M/C, so hopefully soon but who knows!

It would be really great if my first pair of FEs thaw and they put them back and I get a sticking pregnancy and then in a year or so, I go back and thaw the other pair and get a sibling! That's a whole lot to wish for so I'll just go with having one sticking pregnancy out of all four embabies.

Update....I am going to be in the docs office on thursday to find out why I m/c last month. I am still so depressed about the loss and want an answer, but I can't seem to get excited about the FET. I am in mourning for the fact that I won't be excited about this baby, but will always be waiting for the rug to be pulled out. Please please for me! I really need group prayer.
Doc visit will be about what protocol will be for FET and then about results of test from baby. Then I will get to ask about testing me to see if I am the problem and decide whether to put back 3 or more embies. I have 8 perfect ones (5 & 6 day blasts)

They frtoze mine in groups also- I have 12 vials- I think 8 vials with 3 each and 4 vials with 2 each- not sure how many we're going to thaw either- especailly since they froze mine so early- it never ends does it! I'd honestly be okay with more than one- but 3 is scary!

Tamtam- I'm so sorry you are having a rough time. I have never experienced a m/c and could not imagine the pain it would bring. I hope you get encouraging new at your appointment, and your next FET will bring you your bundle you have been praying for .

Irena- It's not impossible ya know I hope you get all the babies you can handle (and want of course). I will send some vibes your way so you can get started asap!

I'm only on day two and it's already been an eternity. I think I will poas next Monday. That should be enough time to wait. Then I wont have to go through the waiting for the call from RE on the 12th. If it's bfn I want to know before they call. It's easier that way.

My DH and i went to the RE today for the first time since we ost our twins in march. Looks like we will be doing a FET this month. Ordered all the meds and just waiting for so we can ger started. We are hoping this works but if not back to IVF and all those shots.

CNYCPL and tamtam, I'm so sorry for your losses. I had a m/c but it was very early and I can't imagine what it would be like to have one so far in. *hugs* Was the RE able to give either of you any answers?
