It's with a heavy heart that I write this message. Our RE called at about 7:45am (just after I got out of the shower and took my morning meds). I made DH answer the phone b/c I knew it would not be good news. All of our frosties died. We knew there was a good chance of this happening b/c of the freezer disaster, but we hoped and prayed that at least a few, or even 1 would make it through. Obviously I am very disappointed. Part of me wants to curl in a ball and cry all day. The other part of me doesn't even want to let myself think about it b/c it hurts too much.

The nurse just called me and they've already got dates for IVF cycle #2. I wish these things could just happen over night, but they did get me in pretty quickly. So my new retrieval date will be the week of September 8th. At least I can give my butt a break for a little while--it's so sore already.

Samantha, I hope that you have a great transfer today. Sorry that we won't be 2ww buddies. I was really hoping we would be!

I want to wish everyone all the best. I hope that those who are awaiting transfer have successful ones. And those that are in the 2ww get . Goodness knows we all deserve it. And those of you who are preggers, I pray that you have healthy pregnancies and give birth to beautiful healthy babies!!!

Thanks for being supportive. I prayed and thought positively about the situation. I don't know what more I could have done. But with a new cycle comes new hope. I am going to start acupuncture and herbal therapy next week which I think will be good.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

Irena, I pray that your pregnancy will be uneventful this time, and you and baby are healthy and happy.

Oh no!! I'm so sorry to hear that none made it ... You didn't do anything wrong, there was nothing more you could have done. I hope you and your DH find some peace and strength. The acupuncture might help.

Thanks for thinking of me at this time! Shows what a great person you are and what a great mommy you will be very soon!

You are absolutely right! I just keep reminding myself that my betas with the boys were a disaster (only a 36% rise between #1 & 2) and they were perfect. Plus I am pretty happy with my beta # 3 from yesterday.

There was an incident with the freezer that her embies were in - it warmed up. They tried to salvage the embies but obviously no luck

Hi girls,
A lot of stuff has happened the last couple days here. Carrbear, I'm so sorry your embies didn't make it, I can't imagine doing another fresh cycle. Keep your positive attitude and hang in there. I sure hope this next cycle gives you lots of eggs and possibilities.

To all the girls, keep those good betas coming! One day I WILL have a beta number!

Update on me...I started a very very light yesterday and talked to the clinic. We're going to start OCP's for 28 days, then start Estrace with the next period, so that puts us at Aug. 29th for a possible FET. Hope it works this time! Keeping .

Have a great weekend everyone!

CArrbear - I'm so, so sorry about your embies. I hope you can take some time to grieve them. You are so strong to be looking toward the future.

I got my calender several days ago and my transfer is on 08/20. I start estrace on 07/15. I'm not sure if it will be vaginal or oral or both. I know later down the line, I take it both ways - 4 times a day. Has anyone had to do this? For my fresh cycle, we had the estrogen patches, which were so much more convenient than having to take these pills and suppositories a million (OK- 3 or 4) times per day. With the progesterone suppositories, I got a yeast infection. Is this common with the vaginal estrace too?

What do you all think?

Should I call again?

I am not certain that my file was even looked at, if she did not know that I did have a - pregnancy test!

I am just so frustrated!

I want to move on with the FET!

Well things are not looking good for us. The dr called and the levels only went from 7.8 to 8.1, basically there is no hope for this cycle. I go back on Monday for more blood work so they can determine if its chemical or etopic.
Looking forward to another fresh cycle in the near future. As long as i dont have to have the shot i can go next month.
