Samantha- Started picking my son up around 4dpt, but only when it had to be done. He is 3 1/2 years old and not anywhere near lite! Thankfully he can get into his car seat on his own cause RE said I can't do any heavy lifting for awhile after that spotting scare I had. How heavy are your kids? Did your RE mention anything about no heavy lifting?

Hi Ryan - Thanks for the info. My RE said no heavy lifting - 20 lbs or more my little man is about 22 lbs. The RN said at least for 3 days. Come Monday DH goes back to work and I am worried about the crib, highchair and especially the CAR. It is what it is so it makes me feel better to hear you started picking up at 4dpt. I have been changing him on the floor and letting him crawl on to me to feed him.

We bought a convertable crib so he can climb right in all by himself. Really the only time I picked him up was to put him into the car and he would climb into his seat. Your little guy is a lot lighter so I wouln't worry too much. Can you feed him while he is sitting on the floor. The less you have to pick him up the better. Rest while you can!

Ryan - glad to hear you are not constantly sick. Your little man can do so much on his own. I will try to feed him on the floor tomorrow. I am sure he will love it. I just did not realize how often I pick him up. Which is ALL the time. He is pretty good at getting around though so that is help.

carrbear--I am soo sorry hun. I hope that the dr is discounting or giving the cycle for free to gdeal with this disaster. I will pray for you and your family to come.
Megan--come on AF Ok, I am waiting on good news from ET reports Babies are already starting to burrow in so we will see., cramping like crazy! UGHH... kinda scary since I feel it on two different sides. Oh My!!

Hi Tami - Did you transfer blasts? You BETA is so close!! My ET was the day after you with 2 day 3 and my BETA is not until the 23rd! Will you POAS? I know I will but I have to wait until at least Friday.

Okay!
We are going to go on a surprise vacation!
We are leaving on Tuesday (staying over night near New Orleans) and will be in Sandestin, Fl on Wednesday until the next Wednesday! I do have to say - being a teacher and not having any plans had its advantages! It was a huge surprise! We just got the call about 2:00 yesterday while swimming at the YMCA to go away with some friends! It will be a great chance to get away! I am also thinking that - my period will almost definiantly come while sitting on the beach! I am going to take my FET meds, just in case!! Megan

Is it ok if I join you ladies? I was in the June thread but go a BFN with my first fresh IVF cycle.
I'm scheduled for a FET on 9/9 and right now I'm just waiting for AF to start my desogen (BCP). I'm hoping you ladies will be able to give me lots of good advice on how to make my FET better than my first try. I haven't had a chance to catch up on all the posts but I wish everyone good luck in whatever stage you are in.

You guys so much has happened here! I'm sorry I've been gone so much on my month of vacations- LOL- and leaving again for a photography convention on Thursday for a week! By the time I get back it will the day before transfer- which is awesome! So congrats to all the BFP's! That is such great news! And sounds like we had a few transfers- hope you girls are holding strong during teh 2ww. Carrbear I'm so sorry about your embies- that news broke my heart. I can't believe that the lab would allow such a disaster-I hoep they are offering you some compensation- so sorry again- goo dluck with your next IVF cycle! Dre- my transfer buddy- how are you doing? Can you believe that transfer is so close? So I'm on these vivelle dot patches- what a pain to get the adhesive off! I've used nailpolish remover, alcohol wipes, baby oil- they all kind of work. Anyone have a better suggestion?
