Jessica The dream vacation I've been thinking about alot is a cruise - preferably a Disney cruise. I'm such a Disney girl. We are moving in the near future though and that makes things complicated. It's not a short move either. We live on Long Island and are moving to San Diego area if we can iron things out with our house sale.

Angie That happens to us all the time - we plan to go out but it never happens or it happens really late. I kinda like those days - lazy weekends. I love the Olympics - watched every night. May and Walsh were so great - no wonder they're tired! Funny story - my 5 yr old was swimming in my in-laws pool with a floaty on and swam to the side and said "I'm Michael Phelps" and slammed his hands down on the water!! Sounds like you had fun at MB. Glad you had tme to relax and have time together with your dh.

Karla IF planning can be so tough. Wish it was easier. Hope you let us know when/ if you make a plan. I like to try to keep all of you ladies in my .

Audra....I'll definitely let you ladies know what we plan on doing next when we figure out....In some ways its nice to let it go for a bit...although its never far from my mind. We've spent the last 3 years dealing with IF & in a way I feel more ok with it now then I ever have....which probably doesn't make a lot of sense....
Many of you on the May thread probably remember my SIL was a big source of frustration for me....She is due in about 8 weeks & I've truly come to a place where I couldn't be more excited. They have even asked me to be in the delivery room....So, at least I'll have a new baby niece to be around.....

Angie- SIL is the reason I did not want to go today...she is still awful....even with me being prego she is evil....I wish she was nicer but she's not...

Audra- I live in NJ so I am with ya that Disney is far....you're moving all the way across the county!!!! Oh my!!!

Karla, OMG~ that's wonderful that you SIL are on good terms....I remember your frustrations with her.....and what an honor to have you in the delivery room! I don't remember....is this your brother's wife, or DH's sister/or brother's wife??

Audra, moving across country?!!? Wow, that's a HUGE endeavor....why are you pursuing that? We are considering moving 1 state over and DH is already freaking out that it will be such a huge deal (& we're just beginning to research) ~ I'm like no, people do it everyday! And, when I just read your post, I told him about it, and said "see, people do it everyday!" and he said "whatever" LOL he hates it when I'm right, which is more often than not! ;-)

Darn it! May/Walsh olympic team L-O-S-T their 1st tourney in like forever today! To the 2nd best US team! Oh, Audra, cute story about your son! I bet there are a lot of kids who will look up to Phelps for a long time.....what a great American story!

Well, we didn't make it to Target.....actually, we didn't make it out of the house today! I agree, I like lazy days! But not tomorrow, we're going to the NHRA drag racing in Indy (DH won tix).....should be a good time! So, it will be Tuesday or so before I can check in.....maybe, we'll have some more May ladies join us by then! Later girls!

Hello Ladies---
So good to hear from all of you. I will give you a quick update so i can catch up on all of you...
I was really shocked that I got pregnant. Let alone that both eggs took. I guess I was just preparing myself for the worst.
We know that Baby B is a Boy and Baby A is stubborn....I have a very good feeling it is a girl. But that is just my guess. After my last ultrasound we found that the placenta is covering the cervix, we are praying it corrects itself as the uterus stretches. Other than that we are doing great, with all the normal aches and pains of being pregnant.

I have to run to a pagent and ox roast but i will catch up when i get back....so good to see us catching up.

Hello May Ladies. I have mostly been posting on the After Fertility Treatments sites. Mostly we're pregnancy and due date buddies. Good to hear from everyone. I didn't post much before and don't do too much now. Just busy. Hope everyone is doing well? Looks like some got BFP's and other continue to struggle with IF. Hang in their girls your time is coming. Don't ever give up.

Just a short update. We had transferred two but one took. While on one hand I'm a little sad that both didn't take, I'm so incredible happy for the one I got. I am currently at 18 weeks and three days. Won't know what we are having till the 22nd of September. That's when I go for my sono. Haven't had a sono since 8 weeks so that's been driving me crazy. I guess now I'm just a normal pregnant lady, if that is what you call it.

Anyhow, hope everyone else is doing well. Take care of yourselfs.

I wish SIL and I were on good terms...she is pure evil...I am glad you and SIL worked everything out...that really is such great news that your family is getting along....and such an honor to be in the delivery room...that is so wonderful!!!...I did go to the BBQ yesterday....for almost 3 hours we stayed...I thought that was really good...and I spoke to SIL....who gave me a hard time about the twins moving (which dr confirmed Wed) but she thinks its way too soon and then about my cribs being on backorder and 1st delivery is 1/6/09...(due to backorder adn X-MaS)...I did not get BRU crib like she did, I got Munire from a furniture store so how would she know what the case is with my cribs???...and I loved the cribs and have the time to wait so who cares?? She just has an answer for everything and knows best because she is ten weeks ahead of me in pregnancy...lol..one day maybe she will be nice

Hardy- I am so excited about your twins!! It's amazing right? We are going to dr 9/10 and will try and find out and I keep fearing they (the babies) won't let us find out and will be stubborn...how far were you when you found out B was a boy??

I want a lazy day today but DH wants to go to the horse race track...post time is 12:50 so I better get my butt in gear soon!!!

I girlies, I'm so glad to see this thread! I miss my May girlies too! It's nice to see so many familiar faces! Sounds like so much is going on. Hope you all are well. As for me, our PGD study revealed 2 normal embies! We had to wait from our retrieval on May 12th, to Aug 21st to bring the twins home! We do have some good news, my betas came back at 93 and 150 just today!!! So far so good!!! I wish all of you the best and can't wait to catch up and see how your summers are going!

Karla That makes perfect sense. Right before this last FET I felt more OK with IF than I ever had - like I'm doing all I can and I'm at peace with that. It's so nice that you can be in the delivery room - what an honor! It's great that you get along so well with your s-i-l.

Jessica Sorry your s-i-l is so tough to get along with. There's one of those in most families. I feel for you. My f-i-l is tough - he actually called a realtor in Ca w/o asking us to find out about a house he likes that he thinks we should buy - never mind that I don't care for it b/c it's on a corner and the road on the side is busy.... sigh.... The pics of the babies are great. I have a few of mine but they don't look like much - a dot really.

hardybaby I had a very low placenta with my ds and it corrected itself as the uterus expanded. Congrats on the twins!! Will they look again and check for gender? I know someone who couldn't find out the gender of one of her twins on the reg u/s and had a 3-D u/s and now know the sexes of both. I might do a 3D u/s for fun anyway but we do not plan on finding out if we are having a g or a b.
