Should I get another HSG?
Hi quick question. On Tuesday, I had an HSG and the RE said my right tube looked good and was open but the left was inconclusive. He said there was nothing to suggest that the left side was blocked but could not say for sure because he had to quit because it was hurting me. He seemed satisfied that everything was a-ok bc I have conceived before "spontaneously" (dumb word for it), but I want to know for sure.
1- Should I ask to reschedule HSG? 2- If it hurts (cause I know for some it is merely uncomfortable), is that a bad sign? Thanks.

Mine was really painful. The RE said that was because my cervix was shaped like a "z" and she had to put a clamp on it, it had nothing to do with blocked tubes. They also didn't give me anything for pain or relaxation.

My HSG was very painful! Unfortunately I had to do it twice because one before my surgery and one a few months after to see if the tubes closed back. The second one was 10x's worst than the first.
Mostly likely your RE will not recommend a second one if he was able to see your tubes are open.
