a bit bummed today

Hello Everyone:
Because of cyst, RE put us on break. I had an LH surge, so we decided to try naturally. RE said to go ahead and take prometrium after ovulation, on offside chance we get pg.

On 10dpo I had very light spotting in the afternoon. Yesterday, nothing. Then this AM at 12dpo, a very very light spotting. I have been on prometrium for about 7 cycles and I NEVER spot, bleed or anything until I stop taking prometrium after negative BETA. So, I took an HPT this AM and nothing.

For me, spotting at the right time (7-10dpo) would be the one indicator that would strongly suggest pg. Now, I'm thinking maybe the prometrium is just not working for me as well anymore. Arrrggh.

I guess I have no questions, I'm just sad and disappointed I let the 2ww craziness get to me yet AGAIN. I told myself I would try not to interpret any symptoms during this 2ww since it's not a "real" cycle. I also decided not to share as much with DH this cycle so he wouldn't have to do the up and down roller coaster with me. Sorry this is so long.

Hi Marilynn,

Sorry you're feeling bummed today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Maybe give it a couple of more days and HPT again. It seems there are some HPT's that don't detect really low levels of HCG. It is so frustrating ttc, getting our hopes up only to find that we've got a again.

Just one comment can lift one's spirit. I still have hope-just needed a breather today. Thanks Laura.

Marilynn-why did your RE put you on a break due to the cyst? I had a large cyst on my left ovary this month. They wouldn't let me do clomid (could cause the cyst to grow) but I did have my IUI on Monday.

Trying naturally IS a real cycle. You are only 12dpo. Give it a few more days! It can happen!
