Stephanie- I understand how you feel about not feeling like you have a place on the forum. I took a huge break after the ectopic, but came back when we decided to try more treatments. Even though we're "on a break" right now I still feel like I need to be here for the girls that were supportive of me and to get support for myself now.

Julie- I never thought I would do one IVF, much less two. I have two babies on ice to think about when we get around to thinking about it. I think (not to be negative) that I might have one more round in me...third time's the charm right?

Mia- I hope your hubby liked his new skirt. LOL The fall is my favorite season, so hopefully you'll have luck then if not before.

KellieJo- I am a little north of Houston, but yes, I am technically in Houston. I'm glad you've got a plan and the drive to move past the upset. I'm glad I have my fall-back babies on ice. I also would like to lose some lbs. IVF drugs and the inactivity that goes with them makes be balloon.

KellieJo- I forgot to mention that my husband and I both have IF factors in play too. MF trumps my not-ovulating without medication and missing tube though I think.

I agree- you gotta have both things working! They have a lot of drugs for women to help out but very few for men, right?

It's a wonder anyone ever gets pregnant. Really, I wasted 10 years of my life on BCPs worrying about whether I missed a dose.

I just wanted to tell you all about my positive day. I was off work today so I could go to orientation for school. I'm going to go to nursing school in the fall. I really felt positive about everything and got a fresh perspective about a bigger plan in this world and why I may have gotten my BFN. I also got back on my eliptical for the first time since my RE told me to not do any strenuous activities. I've been feeling like I'm carrying some extra "fluff" from the IVF, and it feels really good to be able to do something about it. I hope you ladies are doing well too.

I'm still thinking about the BFN a lot- but I stated a new diet and have been exercising and trying to focus on getting my body healthy. I realy believe that getting healthy will help- so that is what I'm focused on! I'm so glad to hear you are doing well also.

Ugh- having a tough time this week watching baby week on Discovery Health. I know I should not watch but I can't help it, and of course now I'm upset.

The premiere of "I did not know i was pregnant" is Sunday. I don't think I'm too upset to watch that as I've always wondered how the heck you wouldn't know.

Hope everyone else is doing ok this evening.

Hey ladies and thanks for starting this thread!
I got a BFN after my 3rd IUI. We really thought it was going to work this time. There were so many "signs" and one big one was that my 1st IUI was on Mother's Day and we were expecting it to be a few days after. I cried the whole day I found out BFN and then I've just been trying to stay positive and think there is a reason in all this. My Dr himself actually called to see how we were doing today and to remain positive b/c everything worked, just no pregnancy. That makes me feel a little bit better, but still definitely hard to get through this. We have to take a break until about August or July to do yet another cycle, so I think until then I'm not going to do anything, POAS, OPK, BBT, nothing, just good old BD!!!

Hey Girls - Can I join you???

I have been in a funk for a while now...since I had a chemical pregnancy/miscarriage I have been in limbo...I don't know if I really want to continue this crazy roller coaster but then I have days where it is all I want...I know I sound crazy....DH and I are at a point now where we just feel like we can't let IF take over our lives but we are just waiting for AF to hit again so I can do another IUI - I think....do I sound nuts???

Welcome Sandi and Lynn

It's absoloutly normal and okay to mourn for our negatives and wonder what went wrong. We're all here for each other.

Sandi- I understand what you mean about being in limbo. We have two frozen babies and may consider another IVF or adoption in the future. Right now I need to focus my attentions on school, but it's really hard when I want a baby NOW...not in two years, but now.

Lynn- I hope the good old fashioned way works for you. Taking a break from trying with help is good sometimes. It just goes to show you that medicine is not an exact science. It doesn't matter if everything goes perfectly; sometimes it just doesn't happen.

KellieJo- For the sake of your mental health, please change the channel. =) Tomorrow will be another good day and next week will be great. Keep your chin up.

I agree - KellieJo you need to turn off that channel (of course I'm obsessed with it as well)

I am feeling more upbeat today...it could be because we are going camping on Saturday and I have two days off from work....that is always a plus! We are going to go boating and skiing...I am also bringing with me a big bottle of Bahama Mama Fruity Rum Drink. I figure that since I'm not pregnant I can have that...my SIL and I will sit and drink it....(I really try to see the positive in negatives right??)

How is everyone doing today???

Things are good here. Trying to stay active so I can lose some weight, but things are bonkers at work which is keeping me so busy. Its nice to have a distraction, I just wish it was not work.

I'm doing a lot of research on waht I want my next stim protocol to be. I need to make it to day 5!

Hello ladies, time for me to join up, I have know for a while I was just waiting for AF to officially show.

I will try the last round of Clomid this month but after my last appointment with RE it looks like I will need surgery to remove mystery item from my uterus, found during the HSG. She had still not heard back from the surgical team (2 Provinces away), she thought they would be able to schedule the surgery before next year, that was supposed to be good news???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to undergo a surgical biopsy in the next few weeks to rule out lymphoma, the needle biopsy was not enough. If that turns out badly the Lap surgery won’t matter any time soon.

2 year wait to see RE than RE takes 5 months off!

10/07-6/08- 6 rounds Clomid all = BFN

RE May 08 = waiting for DH appt. at clinic to see if his sperm will survive the wash and respond properly to “fallopian tube environment” – July 08 Passed!

5/08 Testing for Lymphoma- Negative!!! I just have Sarcoidosis.

6/08 Can’t get follow up appointment with RE until September--Am considering moving to the third world, than will not be surprised at inadequate health care.

8/08 Hysteroscopy and Lap removed polyp from uterus and adhesions to ovary and fallopian tubes, adhesions not previously diagnosed.

mgmrsk - I am going to that everything turns out ok....IF is such a crazy rollercoaster ride...

ara79 - I think it is great that you posted....you know to well what we are all going through...all the extra prayers help right???

Kelliejo - I hear ya with the work distraction...I was worrying a few months ago about being laid off from lack of work and now I am so busy I may need an assistant! It is a great distraction but IF is always on the brain I think...

Just wanted to tell you ladies to have a great weekend. I leave tomorrow for Lake Shasta for four days for camping and water skiing (pray that I don't break any bones!) I'm really excited to have a few days vacation that isn't for RE visits or anything IF related....Have a great few days and I will talk to you all Wednesday!!
