Hm, I've thought about weight watchers in the past too. I think I would definately need to go in person though because I am just not disciplined enough for anything else!

Mia-I have the pink lemonade that I got at wal-mart and it is pretty good! I don't like instant tea so I doubt that I would have liked the tea flavor. I wish they had more than just two!

Thumbs up Can i join you ladies...

Wow, how come i missed this thread...wonderful idea i must say!

Though i am not going to be exactly on the path to lose weight(still breastfeeding) but yes i do want to get back in shape. I want to work on reducing the belly bulge after childbirth. I know it is difficult but not entirely impossible. I want to put on my jogging shoes soon maybe in the morning when my daughter is sleeping and generally start to get the freash morning air. My pregnancy had been sort of tough with lots of bedrest and being at home...so cheer me up a little ladies...i am happy that i didn't go into a postnatal depression which is quite common after childbirth.

I was 154 lb when my daughter was born. I have lost some and back to 143 lb. My pre-pregnancy weight was 121 lb. I am 5' 6" tall and quite okay with my present weight of 143 lb. (Otherwise i feel i look skinny). But I want to get back in shape. I plan to do walks, jog and do some yoga.

CHEERS

SO hubby and I have decided since the weather is getting nicer here in NY to go walking after dinner with the baby. We are very new to our neighborhood so we figured this will also give us a way to get to know our envirnoment. I haven't budged from the 5 lbs and I am getting a little discouraged but I am started to fit better in to some of my pregnancy jeans and tops.
How is everyone else doing??

I haven't gained or lost, so I think I am going to switch up my exercise a bit. I love going on walks. That is such a fun family exercise

I am still hovering at the same weight or a couple pounds less but nothing consistently lower (but hopefully next week). I am going to a festival this Wednesday with my family and I cannot resist the good, but extremly bad for you Carnival food. I am going to be bad but will try to not deprive myself but just limit the amounts of crap that I eat. I will try to increase the workout as well. I tried weight watchers about a year ago. I was on a break from TTC and my PCOS was out of control and I lost like 1/4 pound in three weeks and was completly discouraged so I became a weight watchers drop out. But I think it is a great program and works for a lot of people just not me . I feel I do better when I count calorie less but just chose high protein healthy items with portion control.

On another note I am currently on CD36 ugh, so I guess once again my PCOS is out of control. I was hoping that just coming off of Follistim and losing weight would make me have a semi-regular cycle. So who knows what my TTC au naturale plans will be from here.

Stephanie- I can not find that pink lemonade flavor anywhere. I may need you to fedex some to Ohio (I will reimburse you of course) .

Skinny thoughts to all...

No I really didn't. I was just depressed and trying to get this thread hopping again. I think I am still about the same but I so wish there was just some fat burning solution that you would drink and all your fat would dissolve. I am on CD38 and took an hpt today and it was a BFN. So my cycles are all out of whack and I was really hoping the Metformin would have evened things out for me . I am just feeling down. But tomorrow is a new day and it will be a better day. Dh is taking me to dinner tonight . So hopefully that will pull me out of this funk, ugh.

I just noticed that Tristan is having his surgery tomorrow. I will say a prayer for him and your family tonight. I know that he will be fine and they will take good care of him and keep him comfortable. How long is it suppossed to take? Can they give babies any meds other than tylenol when they are in recovery? I know you are probably nervous but babies are so resillient, they bounce back very quickly. I am sure your little man will be good as new shortly. Well sorry to give you the false hope of the weight loss, I wish.

LOL It's ok it got me laughing (and hating cause at the time I read that I had an aunt annie's pretzel in my mouth). I couldn't help it being in the mall and all. Tristan's surgery is next Tuesday and we are nervous. He will be sent home with baby "painklliers' whatever that stuff is. He will have a catheter for a few days after the surgery and I worry about that. I feel so bad that now he is trying to walk he can't. I really really appreciate the prayers, thank you.
Enjoy dinner tonight, it sounds so romantic to be out together. Aside from our walks now it feels like hubby and I only see each other every 10-12 hours for a short time then it's bedtime. What I really miss if my time with Tristan..he's growing so big and so fast.

Hello ladies
How is everyone this beautiful spring day (yes the weather here is NY is in the 70's and I have my windows open). It was also my half day at work so I'm home relaxing with my guys (Tristan & Hubby). Anyway I signed up for this thing called 360 wellness and it keeps track of your fitness, health history, family health history, fitness, and other information. It has did a risk assessment and I didn't do to well so that is more motivation for me to get more physical. If anyone wants to sign up to either track thier progress or for a risk assessment of you own please feel free to PM me your email address and I'll send you an invite (I think it's the only way to sign up or at least that is how I did it). Oh I forgot to mention the best part, for every part you do you earn points which actually turns to cash. It's not alot but it's still cool.

Hey, I don't know where I am at on the weight loss thing or how I am doing, but I am guessing just about the same.

Mia-you had me going as I was reading to catch up with the thread! I was laughin my butt off! I would love to send ya some pink lemonade. I find it in the pharmacy section at walmart. I saw the other day that they also have that stuff in the regular drink aisle, but they didn't have the pink lemonade flavor there. Not sure where you get if from.

Jessica-what kind of sugery is Tristan having? I can imagine how worried you must be! I will be praying for him too!

Thanks Stephanie. He is having surgery on his lil boy part to fix a bend in his wee-wee where the muscle is which will cause him erectile problems and pain as he gets older. I appreciate the prayers, we need them.

Thanks Misti I really appreciate it!! Well we have been trying to spend a lot of quailty time with him We took him to the park and put him in the swing. He had a ball. We have been walking along the boardwalk at nights now and it's such a nice thing to do. I had to buy a new lightweight stroller for Tristan though cause his regular one is too heavy. We tested a few and by far fell in love with the Wendy Bellissimo one (just a recommendation to help the new moms or soon to be moms looking for a lightweight stroller). Plus it's so cute!!
