I am doing ok on the diet (1200 calories a day) and last night i ate french fries with bbq sauce (my fave) because i had 500 calories left at the end of the day. Not the best choice but oh well i am going to splurge when i do well and if you cook them in the canola oil it is 0 trans fat. The excersise is still non existant but i am going to get on it one day (wink wink)

Just wanted to let everyone know I get this wheat bread it is from Target, marketplace is the brand I think. And for 2 slices it is only 110 calories and 1 gram of fat. When I did weight watchers it was a cheap alternative to their bread. It is pretty tasty too. Oh and it is like $1 for a loaf of bread.

Well After Tristan's 9 month checkup today hubby and I are going shopping and I'm picking up some chocolate and vanilla slimfast plus a HPT. I haven't been feeling right lately and now 4 people in my family have had dreams with me and a baby (figures it would happen now lol). The last time I tried to lose weight was right before I found out I was pregnant with dd but funny enough that is weight I'm trying to get back down to. It's crazy how 25 lbs can make such a difference. Back then I thought I was soooo huge now I wouldn't mind being 150 lol.

Is Tristan going to be a big brother? I made myself a good dessert last night. I got good strawberries from the grocery store sliced them up put a little splenda on them, put in a bowl with sugar free jello, and topped it off with cool whip free. It tasted good and actually was really filling. How are you guys I have to do the treadmill today. I didn't yesterday but justified it with a super cleaning of my kitchen. Anyway have a great day ladies!

LOL His appt. isn't until 3:30 and I'm at work now so I wont' know till later. Your dessert sounds sooo yummy. I passed out at 9 last night so we didn't get a chance to have dessert. Who knew working all day, coming home to unpack, and take care of a VERY cranky baby could make me so exhausted lol.

Oh No!!! do you drink soda or coffee? They claim those 2 types of drinks can ruin a diet (but I'm not giving up my cup of joe in the morning). Maybe you're just bloated a little (is AF supposed to show or gas from eating vegetables)?

Once the doctor told me my weight was going to become a problem we haven't been actively trying anymore. Hubby and I decided to enjoy Tristan and let me focus on my weight. I would be lying if I said it wouldn't tickle me to be but for some reason I'm scared now. While actively "trying" it wasn't a scary thought now all of a sudden it is, wierd huh? I would also be worried because I got sick last month and needed antibotics plus I have has some trouble falling asleep and have taken sleeping pills when needed.

I WANT IN... just as soon as I have the baby that is

What is your goal weight? 110 (my weight the day of IUI)
How much you have to lose? probably about 30lbs
How you got here? pregnancy
Whats your method? portion control alone with the asst. of Weight Watchers for 6 weeks (let me recover from C-section & adjust to sleep deprivation), then I'll start walking x 6wks, then I'll step it up to wogging (a combo of walk-jog intervals) x 6wks
**would love to run like I used to but its too hard on my legs i.e. shin splints**
By what date? The end of maternity leave (12 weeks from delivery)

Afternoon snacking is a killer for me too! Its usually when I'm the least busy at work. & when I get home, I want to raid the fridge!!!! Hope I can get back on track after PG. I did Weight Watchers during my 1 1/2 year engagement to DH. I lost 25lbs (from 130lbs to 105lbs) just in time for the wedding. I managed to keep it off until May 2007 when we really concentrated on TTC. I loved Weight Watchers (the program -- but I didn't attend meetings). So I'll give it another shot. This is going to be fun!!!!!!

Stress eating!

I am sure everyone has done it. I try so hard not to, but with my job (teaching and coaching cheer) it seems as though I am always super stressed out. I have done good lately, but yesterday and today were bad days. After a long day of standardized testing, I broke down and went to Dairy Queen. I know, I know. I shouldn't have, but I couldn't resist my craving for something sweet. Then today, one of my students brought me cookies because she could sense I was having a bad day yesterday and wanted to cheer me up. Very sweet of her to think of me (one of the good things about teaching).

So now, I am super tired and have no energy to exercise. Plus, the weather is really nasty outside. Can't do anything outdoors. We'll see.

On a better note, I have increased my fruit intake and I never imagined eating fruit all day would fill me up. A banana for breakfast, an apple and grapes for lunch, an apple as an afternoon snack, and an orange as my desert after dinner. I guess that is a definite change from what I used to do before and that was barely eat any fruit.

Why did you have to bring up the DQ. I think that is what I am having for dinner tonight, and I dont mean food, I mean a sundae. I know it is bad and horrible for my body but I have a terrible sinus headache that I think is an infection (going to doc tomorrow) and I have been taking sudafed all day so I dont have much of an appetite and that is the only thing I want to eat. I did do 2 miles on the treadmill earlier before I started feeling too horrible so I think I am just gonna go for it. Go home take some nightime sinus med, eat sundae, watch Lost, and go to bed. I am out for the day, the diet is over tonight.

Ok, I need to be put in the corner. I had chinese food tonight and it wasn't the healthy stuff either. Sorry for mentioning DQ. I had not been there forever and I just had to have it.

I am watching Lost right now. I can't wait to see what happens this week.

Hi Ladies
Can I get in on this too?? I don't know what happened, but one day I looked in the mirror, and my parts were jiggly. We are on a break from TTC, so what a great opportunity for me to get healthy (physically, emotionally, and in my marriage). I think while we have been TTC, I have forgotten to take care of me. I look forward to hearing everyones achievements.

What is your goal weight? 155
How much you have to lose? 35 lb
How you got here? TTC ,depression, and unhealthy eating habits.
Whats your method? No coffee drinks, treadmill, aerobics, smaller portions and I bought a BEAN last summer that I need to put to work again.
By what date? Whenever...I just need to feel better about myself, reduce moods swings.
