3 or more miscarriages?
Have you had three or more miscarriages in a row (before having your first child) and been successful or currently trying any alternative (or non-IVF) strategies to help you conceive?
Thanks, Maggie

Thanks! I have some blood disorders but the RE says mine are mild... so I'm not sure if its egg quality and blood disorder or what...
THank you for posting. I'm trying to gather the positive energy to keep trying "naturally" for a fourth time! Doc recommended IVF with PGD and we're not sure we're ready for all that! I see you used Clomid. For what purspose? I used Letrozole for the last conception to regulate and time the "O" and he said to try to improve quality of the follicle. What about you? Thanks! Maggie

We used Clomid after trying to conceive for a year after our last loss. My follicle stimulating hormone was elevated at that time and my ob/gyn suggested we could use a little help. You should find out what your blood disorders are and what the protocol for treating them is. My ob/gyn knew that I had tested positive for ANA, anticardiolipins, and lupus anticoagulent but wasn't clear how I should be treated. It wasn't until I was referred to a haematologist at the recurrent pregnancy loss clinic at Women's Hospital that I learned I needed to be on heparin for my pregnancies. Whether he thinks they are mild or not, I would seek another opinion. There are several girls on here that have tested positive also for MTHFR and who have used heparin successfully.
