Herbal approach to help the man and the woman

My dh and I have a 6 y/o dd who was conceived after 2 m/c...all 3 pregnancies took no effort at all. We started ttc again about 5 1/2 yrs ago, and actively tried for a good 3 of those years, and the other 2 1/2 were not ttc, but not preventing. I am all for herbal approaches so if you have been in our shoes, what would you recommend for us. Here are our issues...
Me: Low progesterone, and get ovarian cyst quiet a bit, but otherwise, seem to be ovulating.
DH: As of about 3 years ago, great counts, but motility was about 30-39%.

Very hard to understand how we conceived so easily 3 times in a row, but have a baby via c/s and then cannot seem to again. We're thinking of starting to "actively" try again. Need to get in shape and start eating healthier first.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I would suggest to see the doctor first to diagnose any problems and check your DH's sperm again, and see what he would suggest for treatments.

My DH is taking fertilaid and it has improved his motility. We just did our first IUI so I hope that was the key.

As far as the ferilaid for women, I wouldn't take it unless you cycle is already messed up, chastetree berry has been know to mess up your cycle if you already have normal cycles.

DH had acupuncture and herbs prescribed by a chinese traditional medicine doctor for 6 months and it improved his quality.

I also had acupuncture and lost some weight before starting ivf.

We both took vitamins and changed what we ate.

Good luck!!

I am 29, and my dh is 32. As far as his SA, that was about 4-5 years ago so I don't have the copy of it anymore. I'm sure the #'s have changed since then, but as far as all the other things they tested, everything was great, just the motility was not so great.
Thanks for the info and I'll be checking out the website soon!

I feel your pain. Hubby and I got pregnant on our own twice and once with our first round of IVF all MC and the last 3 IVF rounds were .

We are now about to try for the next few months on our own to save up for our next round in January. we're praying for a soon.

My husband is on Proceed and RJ/BP and I'm on RJ/BP, accu, and will start DHEA 25 mg this week so we are hoping that something will work soon. One thing that I didn't realize is that I really wasn't drinking anywhere near the amount of water that I needed to just for my blood flow. I have a hard time drinking water and was only drinking one to two glasses a day and now I'm drinking half my body weight in ounces of water per something I read online about how to prevent miscarriages. I really feel a physical differenace from this alone so I hope all this does the trick for us.

Blessings to you, hope you get a real soon

Hi,
I managed to conceive after 3 years using Chinese Medicine. I started trying at 32 and was successful at 35. It took a lot of hard work to get there. I changed everything...diet, took lots of herbs and supplements, meditation and stress reduction, eliminating toxins from my environment. I would recommend this approach as hard as it is.

11-05-09 Blood test and DH SA
11-09-09 Cervix dilation for HSG(tubes clear)

DH SA perfect 59 million and 80% motility
Me not so great, diagnosed DOR only 7 follies, all #'s low or burder to what they should be, cervix and uterus smaller than normal, RE things all this can be bypassed by IUI and I should carry a normal pregnancy with cerclage @ 12 wks and full bed rest probably the whole pregnancy.
Beta test 104 Clear to start Femara again for first IUI.
11-14-09 Started Femara
