Infertility Cocktail...

I haven't been on here in awhile because TTC came to a screeching halt when DH decided to join the Marines. But now he's done with training and its time to start trying again. And by that I mean start ALL OVER. We had to leave our wonderful RE back in Texas, and have to find a new RE in North Carolina. and I have to have a referral from my PCM (primary care manager) for insurance to cover it. So while were waiting for appts and referrals I want to be doing something! not just waiting.

I have read a lot of different reviews about the many different herbal meds out there. I need guidance! Theres Fertilaid and Fertility Blend. then theres omega 3, royal jelly, bee pollen, FertilCM, Evening Primrose Oil, Prenatal Vit., Cactus

Then theres aromatherapy and accupuncture.

So I would love to hear what you all recommend. and doses please

Also, I wanted to let you all know that its not just me with fertility problems. DH has some fertility problems as well. So I was hoping that someone out there knew what he should be taking as well. Thanks so much!

I am in the Air Force and wanted to let you know that the military does not cover the cost of IVF for you. They will cover the retrieval and transfer, but you have to pay out of pocket for your RE. I am in the Mojave Desert adn had to drive to San Diego (3 hour one way trip), but it only cost us $7,000 out of pocket total (hotels, gas etc.) The closest place you can go to for this treatment would be Walter Reed Army Hospital in Northern VA/Maryland. When I was stationed at Langley we were going to go there, but I PCS'd before we could have this done. The military views IVF as "elective treatment" so therefore Tri Care will not cover it. I know... it sucks. BUT you still save a ton of money going through the military. If you want to do IUI's I know a great doctor at NMC Portsmouth, and IUI's are covered (not RE is necessary). Hope this helps!

My husband is on Proxeed ( www.proxceed.com) and RJ/BP. I'm on RJ/BP and accu, and I'm starting DHEA this week.

Any of the suppliments and accu have to be done for 3 months before you'll really have results in the quality of your eggs and quality and quantity of your husband's sperm.

RJ/BP and Accu - So many women on this forum have had a lot of luck with this especailly if doing IVF.

Hope this information helps.
