Question on Royal jelly and DHEA

I got one of my ovary removed due to dermoid cyst 3 months back. After the surgery, when i first got my periods, my FSH was very high. Doc thought that my other ovary takes time to respond. Next periods my FSH was normal, but low AMH. With ultrasound and blood work on day 10, Doc said i would be ovulating around day 13. I missed my third period (I was very normal before the surgery, this is the firstime i missed periods in my whole life.). When i went for ultrasound after 2 weeks of my missed period, doc found that i ovulated again, which is wiered and dont know the reason. So asked me wait for my next period, which i got yesterday (Oct 08) on cycleday 55.
My doc want me to wait for 3 natural cycles before going for IVF. I wanted to try Royal Jelly & Bee Pollen which i came accross this site.
Can i take it through out the cycle, i mean even after ovulation? I get this doubt because, with ivf, egg retrieval is done at ovulation, so ppl here say that they stop taking royal jelly after egg retrieval. But i am not going for ivf, so I wanted to know if i have to continue after ovulation or not.
Is there any best time of the day to take it (like onempty stomach, etc)? the bottle suggests to take between meals.

I also heard about DHEA, I asked my doc, but he thinks it can make no difference, but he want to go on with it if i really want to. What would you suggest? if i have take what is the dossage that i should start with?

Thank you so much in advance for your responses

If you not going through an egg retreival for IVF right now or for a while then do not worry. Take the Royal Jelly Bee Pollen till you litterally try to get pregnant. If you think you are pregnant or you are going through IUI or IVF and are on your 2ww then at that time you would stop taking it. The reasoning on this is because just in case you get pregnant and the baby might have an allergic responce to BEE products.

At the IVF center that I go to they prescribe the natural hormone suppliment to many clients. I just got on it 2 weeks ago. This is supposed to aid greatly in your egg quality and lesson the chances of chromosomal abnormalities. See below some details that I was able to find online. DHEA can be purchased over the counter but it's best to get a perscription for the "Micronized Time Released" version of it. This is because it makes a differenace on how it's absored into the body. Time released vs. just getting dumped into your system. Not to mention that a doctor can check you for particular hormon levels. I had a few miscarriages so we are now trying this to see if DHEA along with the RJ/BP makes for a successful

DHEA

Table 1: EFFECTS OF DHEA IN WOMEN WITH DOR
Increases egg (oocyte) and embryo counts
Improves egg and embryo quality
Increases number of embryos available for embryo transfer
Increases euploid (chromosomally normal) embryos available
Speeds up time to pregnancy in fertility treatment
Increases spontaneously conceived pregnancies
Improves IVF pregnancy rates
Improves cumulative pregnancy rates in patients under treatment
Decreases spontaneous miscarriage rates
likely reduces aneuploidy (chromosomal abnormalities ) in embryos

Table 2: POSITIVE SIDE EFFECTS OF DHEA
Improved overall feeling
Physically stronger
Improved sex drive
Mentally sharper
Better memory

Thank you ToBeMommy. I am trying to get pregnant naturally (with out IUI or IVF). So i'll take royaljelly, till i ovulate and then stop during my 2ww. till i get BFP or my periods. I am 34 and very desperate to conceive my first child. I am very much depressed with low AMH, as my doc suggests that egg donar is the only solution, but he wants to try naturally for few more cycles.Thank you so much for your response.
I will ask my doc for prescribed DHEA. Can this be taken all tru the cycle or only till ovulation?

It is suggested that the moment you think your are pregnant that you need to stop the DHEA immediately. My hubby and I are TTC naturally for the next few months since I just started taking bith RJ/BP and DHEA. You need to take these for 3 months to see the positive effects on your eggs. our egg cycles are a full 150 days and what ever we do or don't do that is needed especially during the last 90 day (3 months) is the most vital. This same amount of time is also true for men's seed.

So you will need to be on this stuff during this time. Are you also going for Accupuncture? This has helpped many. I am going for accupuncture since ending of July. Your blood flow plays a huge part in nurishing your eggs and building in the lining of the uterus.

The quality condition of our eggs and the quality condition of men's sperm can be changed and made better. Give this a good try, and make sure to get 50% of your body weight in ounces of water because water helps with the blood flow.

I've got pregnant many times but I've miscarried each time. All these things can help with people who have miscarried as well. Hope this info helps.

Just an FYI, you do not need to get an approval from your RE. Many RE never think to tell their patients to get accu done and many RE's state that it's a must. My RE is considered/rated as 2nd in the nation and he recomments it.

Their rates really depend on your area. I called all over to price them out. The cheapest I found was $40 per treatment and the most expensive was $120 per treatment. Make sure that they specialize in fertility treatment because knowing the correct accu points make a difference. You can google accupucture for fertility and read up on the benefits. The blood flow to the sexual organs is vital for healthy eggs and healthier embryo so check into it. I found that there were a ton of accupuncturist in and around my area. They are normally also chiropracters as wells as do accu. Wishing you blessings and lots of .
