I'm just ridiculously excited! I just found out that our insurance covers acupuncture just like any other doctor! I can't believe it! So now I'm wondering, do you have an acupuncture success story? Not just a , but how it's helped you in any way? I'm going to be calling tomorrow to set up an appointment. I never in my life dreamed I'd be teary eyed and excited about going to have someone stick needles in me!

The one cycle where I did acupuncture was the one cycle I got my , so I'm a believer now! Good luck.

I had majorly sore (.) (.) with the BCP & Lupron and my acupun. was able to alleviate it..she also minimized the Lupron headaches I was getting....I love going and fall asleep on the table now...I am continuing to go through my IVF cycle and hope it will help lead to a BFP!!!! Good Luck!!

Hey!

My insurance covers it as well, I just have to pay a co-pay of $10 each visit, that is doable.

My only problem has been NOT knowing where to begin my search to find somebody, especially when it comes to wanting to do acupuncture in conjunction with infertility treatments. Anybody suggest anything? I'm in St. Louis, MO

You might want to check out AAAOM: Home . It's the website for the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine website. They have a find an acupuncturist feature on there. It might point you in the right direction.

Also check with your insurance carrier to make sure who ever you find is in-network.

Fortunately I have a great provider 2 miles from home, but I haven't had a BFP yet, though I didn't include accp with my IUI this month. Next month I will.

Even if you don't get your BFP, you'll enjoy the relaxation and it DOESN'T hurt, I often can't tell where she puts the needles and where she's just working a pressure point.
