ok I had my FET but was not a success and got my AF on this 15th may...no embryos left and have been trying naturally after that....after that failed cycle I haven't got my next AF....I am PCOS so my cycles are irregular so I was not expecting it on 15th june but somewhere in june end...all the expected dates were passing and all the HPTs were negative...my last expected date for AF is 6th july that is today and I took a HPT on 4th july and it was negative within 5min...and I used a clearblue one...I had left it there and in the evening when I saw it there was a veryy faint line...I thought again mind is playing games but hubby also confirmed that something is there...today I took another test but a cheap one and was negative....

What could that faint line mean?...is there any possibility? can a faint line come after so many hours? if it would have been a faint positive then something should have come up on the other test? Does that matter that faint line was on clearblue and the cheap one may not have shown?

i know very weird question but was getting very impatient....thanks for reading...

My understanding is the test results have to be read within the first 10 minutes. After that, the test is no good. To me, it doesnt make sense if it was negative how after 2 or 3 hours it turned positive. I also have read mixed reviews on the cheap dollar store HPT kits. I am using those right now and not really trusting it. I would suggest getting a blood test. I know this doesnt help much and its horrible hearing this. Clearblue pg tests always show a second faint line after the waiting time is up. Thats why they should be binned after using them as there unreliable and people have complained about the + sign clearblue and the digi test because with the digi tests when it says negative if you open it there will always be 2 lines this is how the test works its stupid and has people thinking there pregnant.

If there is no line on a cheap strip test after 15min max then bin it any line after 15min is a evap line if the 2nd line is pink or purple or blue the same colour as the control line then this is a positive. Evaps are grey in colour and can only be seen when tilted or put under a light.
