Have you guy's seen this ?!?!?!

I was at Target this afternoon and took my usual stroll down the HPT aisle. I saw this new first response gold digital test. I flipped out, I love to see new HPTS!!! I know it is pretty sad, I am a POAS addict. I looked and it was a 2-pack and the only tag was for a 2-pack of first response for $8.79 which I think is cheap for the regular let alone digital. Well I knew it was probably too good to be true and went along with the rest of my shopping. I purchased everything and I had a gift card which thru me off and when Dh and I were driving home I looked at the receipt and the tests cost $17.99 WTH. I thought they would be more but I was thinking $12 not $18. Well anyway I called the store and asked to talk to a manager and explained to her that the tag said $8.79 and she went and checked and confirmed that is what the ONLY tag said and she told me if I came back she would credit my debit card. So we turned around and went back and I got the new digital for $8.79. So here are a few pics. Oh yeah it reads yes+ for pregnant and -no for not pregnant. Of course mine was a BFN but here are a ton of posts (the first ones Dh took and he set up a Sears portrait studio in our bathroom so that is why they look like they are from a commercial, the one tore apart is the one I took ). Anyway I tore it apart and it is like a mini desktop in there. Oh I hope that may not be strange that I cracked it open . Anyway there are a couple pics of box, stick before I peed, after with the BFN (which I knew), oh and it all tore apart. Anyway I am currently working on reusing the test with a separate test strip (since the battery still works) more on that later...

Here are the pics (is it terribly sad I am this excited?)

Is it designed to be used by changing the strips? That would be neat. I haven’t seen that model yet up here.

TTC 3+ years

2 year wait to see RE than RE takes 5 months off!

10/07-6/08- 6 rounds of Clomid all = BFN

RE at end of May 28/08 = need to wait for DH appt. at IVF clinic to see if his sperm will survived the wash and respond properly to “fallopian tube environment” –Scheduled for July 23

5/08 Testing for Lymphoma- Negative!!! I just have Sarcoidosis.

6/08 Can’t get follow up appointment with RE until September. IUI that should of started in the spring will now be in Late fall at best--Am considering moving to the third world, than will not be surprised at inadequate health care.

8/08 Hysteroscopy and Lap removed polyp from uterus and adhesions to ovary and fallopian tubes, adhesions not previously diagnosed.

That is awesome! I don't use the digitals because I think its worse on me to see the no or not pg that it is to just see one line. But if you can get it to work again by changing sticks, let us know!

Yes I dont usually go for the digital either but I think I am going to save the other one I have in the box and stick with internet cheapies for a while. Then when I get my BFP I will use it (I think it expires in 2 years so I will keep praying for my miracle). I was just very shocked that the well trusted first response now has digital.

That's cool!!! A woman after my own heart!

I'm afraid to take a digital test, for some reason.

I think it is the reality of it "not Pregnant" or "No". With the first response tests I like to detect even the faintest line (would it read positive if it was such a faint line you could barely see it?)

I don't know...looking for the line can be frustrating...but it also breaks the news gradually....lol...after you stare at it in EVERY POSSIBLE light and every angle...for at least 30 minutes. By then I guess I'm finally ready to accept the negative.

If I got a on one of those digitals i probably would tear the thing apart as well...again searching for the slightest hint of a second line.

do we know if they are as sensative? I would love a digital that was as sensative as FRER. The angles and staring for
30 min is so me. I actually feel crazy so i like the digital (I have only taken them after at a positive)

Well I caved today and bought a 3 pack of first responce tests.

They had some "EPT certianty" tests there for the same price. Better actually because it came with 2 tests and 1 free digital test. But since I've never used that brand, I went with what I know. Are they just as sensitive?

I might do a digital this time once I get my positives on these, just to be able to see the word "pregnant". That would be fun...but since I'm obcessed and always test so early it's best I stick with what i'm familiar with right now.

btw, I didn't see any of the First Responce Gold digitals there. Are they just as sensitive as the other first responce tests?
