DQ alpha 4.1 match
My DH and I had immunity testing done and got the results on Wednesday. Everything tested fine except for DQ alpha 4.1 - we were a match.
The nurse said I will need to go through IVIG approximately 5-6 times at $4500 a time. The money will be a challenge, but not knowing exactly what this is and what the treatment is actually doing is more concerning. I am scheduled to have a phone conversation with my Doctor on Tuesday - but any information anyone has on this would be helpful. I have googled like crazy and keep seeing the same writings. Has anyone heard of this or have gone through this?? Thank you, Carrie
