antiphospholipid antibodies

How does antiphospholipid antibodies effect pregnancy. From the research that I did it causes miscarriages and late term loses, but can be treated with blood thinners.

I had a difficult last pregnancy and my blood test came up positive for antiphospholipid antibodies. They are referring me to a speacialist, but I can be seen untill January!

My DH and I would like another child and I don't know what this means? Will I have trouble getting pregnant with this particular disorder? We can't afford much for infertility and IVF is out of the question. With my last two pregnancy's we used clomid, but I don't know if I had these antibodies than?

What are the chances for a sucessful pregnancy?
