Hello

Hello everyone, i am a new user and looking for support with my infertility. I am 27 years of age and feel as though i am the only one my age with this problem. Im looking for email pals and someone to talk to about my problem.
I have been unable to conceive for a long time. I have tried clomid and now my doctor is putting me on a different fertility drug. It gets tiring after wards but i am learning to deal with the problem, although i have my moments and have a hard time getting out of that moment but get back to normal after a week or so.
I had a miscarriage a couple of years ago and almost died, since then i have not been able to get pregnant.

I am a medical assistant student and going to be volunteering at a hospital in a baby and child ward, hopefully that will help me to cope with what i am going through. I have a lot of love and time to give.

Its hard to understand why sometimes, why god gives drug users and other people children when they cannot even care for themselves, its seems so unfair, why has god forgotten me, why is it that he has passed me by when i am a good person who has a lot of love to give? These are questions that i am trying to hard to understand.
Anyways. I hope to hear from many of you who have the same problem and questions i have.

Kaya

Kaya, you have found the right place. The women on here are a godsend. They have helped me through all my fertility issues. I just wish I found them sooner. I am also 27, but have never been pregnant. I also feel that it is not fair for drug users and such get pregnant so easily, but it is so hard for all of us who are trying. You can pretty much ask any question and I am sure that someone on here has gone through it or knows the answer to your question.

Welcome and good luck.

I'm kind of new also!

I came and signed up August as we began our first round with an actual fertility doctor after being on cholomid through my obgyn. I had a tubal in May 07, lost the left tube. I had tests and a surgery over the summer and we started Femera in August. It worked, but ended in a chemical pregnancy (aka really early miscarriage). I am on Femara again. I went for a follicle scan on Friday, 6 follicles but only measuring 12. Apparently they need to be 18 before I get the shot that makes me ovulate. So, I am headed back in the morning.

Regarding your frustration with watching the world around you be filled with babies by less than desireable parents: I work for a child protection agency, so I completely understand how you feel. I handle it very well and don't even take it personally when we learn of a drug addicted infant. What bothers me, is when people who work for me are pregnant and continue to smoke. These are well educated people working in a profession where people are not good to their children and they still choose to smoke while pregnant.

I have been in other stages of my life and faced moments falling into the category of "life's unfair" but the long I go without being able to conceive and carry a child, it is getting harder and harder.

I hope to hear good news from you in the future!!
