Need someone to talk to
Hi Everyone! This is my first time on this site so let me introduce myself. My name is Melody and I have been ttc for 4 years. I have not been to a specialist as of yet but am going to be going on the 18 of this month. I have one child who is 6. I usually do have a regular period but this year has been weird. I got my last period on May 10. I have not had one since. Strange all the pregnancy tests come back negative. I have blood work out right now to see if something is wrong with my hormones and alot of detailed lab work. We have a great life but are struggling with this one problem. It is like it is ruling my life and making me miserable. We want this so bad and I dont know where to go from here. I dont know anyone who is going through this. I cant talk to my family because for some reason it ebarrasses me and makes me feel like less of a woman.

 Melody, glad you are here. First I want to congratulate you on your 6 year old daughter. Second I want you to know that you have stumbled upon some amazing women. You can ask us any question, vent til the sun comes up or just chime in with your thoughts and feelings. Keep us posted.

Melody!I have to agree this is the right place. I have been totally addicted from the first day I stumbled in here and now these ladies are such a great support. Something we all need! I too do not talk to my friends about this, there are only a select few that know and we still don't talk about it. Again Welcome, and feel free to vent, or just spill all your feelings out.

Melody,
I'm so sorry that you are dealing with IF issues, but like the other girls said, you have come to the right place. Here's a suggestion: write down all of your questions as you think of them and then take them when you head for your appt on the 18th. This way, you are completely prepared and can write down the answers as your dr answers your questions. Is it possible you are in early menopause?? Karen

I know how you feel. My MIL is always pulling that crap " Well I know its not my son" grrrr... I can't tell you what self control it took for my not to claw her eyes out. Hang in there. Keep the prize in mind! We'll all get there one day! - J rene
