Unhappy 2nd Round IVF'er--anyone else?

Hello---I'm 35 and just started my injections today (Lupron Flair) to begin my 2nd round of IVF (failed April attempt). I'm lucky now to be classified as a "poor responder" so I'm on super drugs now! Bring on those eggs!!

I would love to be able to chat with someone that is going through a similiar situation. This is it for us. My insurance will only pay for two rounds. I feel that if this doesn't work, my DH and I will never have a baby. I know that I need to remain positive and really need some support. I hope you are out there!!

My first cycle got cancelled so technically this is my third go around, but close enough. We are in a shared risk program. I have this try and one more and that's it. I understand how you feel. I so hope it works out for all of us. I am on day 6 of stims. I will probably do er wed or thurs if nothing goes wrong. There are a lot of us on here going through this 2nd or 3rd times.
Good luck to you.

I start Lupron tomorrow (Mon.). This is also my 2nd IVF cycle. I respond pretty well to the drugs. The first cycle I produced 12 embryos and have 5 frozen if we choose to use them in the future. After discussions with dr., we decided to try another fresh cycle rather that try a frozen cycle. Hopefully this will be a successful month for all of us.
I'm hoping...DH and I went out for Chinese food our anniversary about a week ago and my fortune said that Happy Events will occur in my home. I'm hoping that it is right.

Hi
I am in a holding pattern right now, but will technically be going through my 3rd round of IVF in Oct/ Nov. My first in January was a BFP - twins - but they both ended up being ectopic. I did a second round in July but didn't have healthy enough growers for transfer, so essentially that one was cancelled. There are lots of women here who are going through IVF their 2nd, 3rd and 4th times. Hang in there! Stay positive. And good luck to you!!

I'm on number two. BCP's right now. I think I start Lupron on Saturday (or Sunday). Not in front of my calendar right now. Boston and I are on the same schedule and I start acupuncture tomorrow.

My latest sonogram

First off, to everyone that has posted a reply to my original posting. This is such a great place to come and feel "normal".

I had a sonogram yesterday at my normal Dr's partner's office since it was a Sunday. I have 11 follicles but two are larger than the rest and according to the nurse, 3 aren't going to "catch up" to the rest. Before everyone was growing at the same rate. She told me that I'm "List B" (has anyone heard of that or had it end up being List A?) and there's a chance that I won't make it to my ER/ET that is scheduled for this weekend. I'm so frustrated right now. My normal nurse told me that it's still early to throw in the towel and that I will be on my meds for at least another 4 days and things could still turn out okay.

My question is this...how do you get back in that positive place after having a bit of a meltdown type of day?
