Newbie - lost and confused, but ready to continue
Hi! I'm a newbie and first time posting in a forum. TTC for 2+ yrs; Has PCOS; husband is good.
Had my 1st IVF Oct 30 - failed =( Depressing Thanksgiving and Christmas. Insurance reason, I'm transferring doctor and will meet tom, Feb 15. Probably will try the frozen embryos. Will ask doctor chances of frozen embryo transfer; Will also ask other options. Need support from people who can relate what I'm going through. Also, any suggestions of questions I should ask to my doctor? Thanks.

Welcome. U have found a great group of support people. Ask all the questions that you can think of and more...

 TTC #1 for 2.5+ years ME: (Amy) 28, tubal damage DH: (Chris) 30, perfect! 3 IUI cycles cancelled due to a # of problems & 1 cycle resulting in BFN 1/12 BFP on natural cycle,ectopic pregnancy ended 1/23/07 1st IVF: 2/7- ER- 17 eggies!! 2/10-ET 2 8-cell 6dp3dt, 7dp3dt hpt= God is so good! Betas: 2/22= 170, 2/25= 499, 2/29=2857 1st u/s 3/13 (My wedding anniversary!) 140 BEAUTIFUL bpm! 2nd u/s 3/27 - WOW! The growth is amazing! 182 bpm U/S 5/27/08 GO TEAM BLUE!!! OMG THEY WERE WRONG! We've switched teams...we're now THINKING PINK!!!   Going for baby #2!  I know just what you are going through (I'm on # 2 right now)--I guess I'd ask my dr to discuss what might have gone wrong the first time and what he/she would do to try to improve chances this time... Good luck! Melodie

me:39 DP: 44 TTC 2 years In the last year have had two unexplained MCs (8 weeks, 5 weeks), plus one trisomy 13 pregnancy ended at 12 weeks (8/06) Tried two cycles of IVF with preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) in January and February 2007 to avoid another chromosomal abnormality, but didn't get pregnant. Back to IUI... May IUI...BFP! Last ultrasound (8 weeks) shows twins!

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Accdg to my doctor, implantation did not occur at all. I felt so depressed. My numbers are all good - retrieved 12 eggs, 9 mature, 6 fertilized and 2 transferred to me. Don't know what went wrong. Will tweak a few things for this round. Hopefully it would work this time. Pray for me and wish me luck! I will be on the emotional roller coaster ride soon. Will keep you posted.
