Hi eveyone
Just wanted to introduce myself. I am new on this site and still not sure how to work everything. I am looking for some support from others going through IVF. I just completed my first cycle of IVF. My pregnancy test is scheduled for tomorrow and wouldn't you know it I started my period Tuesday My husband and I have been trying to conceive for three years. We have only been seeing a specialist for about a year. My husband was diagnosed with low sperm count and low motility. I am so frustrated for getting my hopes up and now it crushing down on me! Any advice please share

Welcome to the forum. I am new as well, I have found that everone here is so supportive. It is nice to know you are not alone, other know how you feel. Although I have not done IVF, it may indeed have to be the route we go in the end. We are doing Gonal-F injection pen, yesterday was my first shot. I know all of this can be so frustrating and stressful. It begins to take over your life. I do understand.

to the forum. You are not alone. I am not doing IVF, yet as I am still in the IUI phase but I know you will find the support you're looking for here!! IF in any form can be overwhelming and frustrating at times, a roller coaster of emotions for us but hang in there!!! Stay strong and focused! Wishing you the best throughout your journey!!

I am new to the site as well, I wish I had known about this site years ago. My biggest fear was all the shots, turned out to be no problem at all. I went through my 1st IVF in feb/mar and although for me everything seemed perfect, it turned out BFN. However, I knew my chances at the first attempt were minimal, only from previous friends/family who have tried. I begin the process for FET on 4/11. I have found this site to be so helpful. I've learned alot in the few weeks I've been on board. Most of all it's comforting to know so many other women are going through the same thing and remain so positive. Welcome to the forum, I'm glad you found us. So sorry to hear that you started your period before your scheduled beta. Many of us know all too well what that is like. But don't give up hope.

Thanks for all the comments, it's nice to know I can go somewhere for support. My husband has been great but doesn't understand the "craziness" the shots can cause. I did have my test and it was negative, no surprise there but still heartbreaking. I have an appoinment scheduled for the end of the month to see what the next step is.

it's nice to have you here
