Need to tell someone I got a positive!!!

Here's my story. I'm 32 yrs. old, so is my husband, TTC for two and a half years, had endo. stage 2 to 3, got lap Aug. 2008, and lupron shots through Jan. 2009...been ttc on our own since January. Doctors told us in April we should go straight to IVF, but we decided to give it a couple more months more....missed my period yesterday...not a single stain!!yai! and today got a positive on a home pregnancy test.

I don't want to get my hopes up until it's confirmed at my doctors tomorrow afternoon, but i can't help it! I'm soooo excited and hopeful. I am so anxious, I'm normally an open book and since my husband is out of town until Sat. the 18th I can't tell anyone! he has to be the first to know and in person of course!

Wish me luck!

Congrats! I don't know how you will contain yourself until DH comes home! Will you plan a special way to tell him?

AAAhhhh, still waiting for him!! He's back in town Saturday 6am. It's been so hard holding it in, I had to tell my younger sister but I have 1st timer nerves. I had strong period like cramping for a couple of weeks, then this last monday night woke up in very strong pain which lasted about half an hour, but to my surprise, after that all the cramping is gone and I feel much better which makes me nervous!

I'm excited, yet I can't wait for the first three months to pass by to feel more comfortable.

Husband was in SHOCK and so happy!! I gave him a "welcome home" gift at the airport as soon as he sat down in the car. It was baby caps, his mouth dropped for like five minutes. He was happy I waited to tell him in person! We are praying it all goes well next ultrasound appointment on Monday 7/27.
