I can't believe it worked!!

Hey Ladies,

We have had a very long and trying journey with infertility, loss and moving on to adoption.

We were taking a break from our last IVF failure in June 2011. We started all of our adoption paper work and were going that route (which has a gazillion rollercoasters also).

In December we decided to have a follow-up from our last IVF and to maybe discuss the future. We were thinking of trying IUI's because they are cheaper and less invasive and hell why not.

On January 4th we did our IUI and I also started acupuncture, as was encouraged by a few people. Never did I really think it would work and holy crap it did. For some reason we just wanted to try, we never did ICSI so we figured they could meet on their own. I always thought they just needed a little help.

Years ago when I tried IUI's they used clomid which made me crazy!! and I couldn't do it. Then at our clinic they used follistem and I always over stimmed so had to cancle a few and only really tried one because too many eggs.

To sum up, I never thought in a million years it would work and it did. Granted we did our own bedding but it is a miracle.

My point to all this is, never give up! No matter where your journey leads you. There are so many choices and you just have to go with your gut which is exactly what we did.

I wish you all the best of luck in your journey's. Ours has finally begun, again. So many more steps to go but we are looking forward to it even though I am nervous and scared and almost angry sometimes. But I am really trying to take one day at a time and to remain positive for our little bean.

Til Next Time.

Starting2nd - Thanks for your encouragement!!

We go to our new doctor for a consult on Feb 14th and then our official first OB appointment on Feb 21st. It is so far away and I am so nervous. One day I feel symptoms and the next day I do not. I want this to work so bad. Trying to Relax.
