Unhappy new here

I'm new to the site. Lately I have felt the need to talk to someone who knows where I'm comming from. I've suffered from 2 miscarriages, and since the last one, infertility. I've been on clomid, metformin, provera, and strangely enough birth control pills (to supposedly regulate my cycle). I'm feeling so frustrated b/c nothing seems to be working. And, all around me it seems that there are pregnant colleagues, friends, and relatives. I have to great step-kids (ages 9 and 13), but it's just not the same. Thanks for listening...

Just want to say welcome. Are you seeing a specialist or just your OBGYN? I suggest going to a RE, they might do some testing that would help in your situation.

I am also new to the site and it is so far been a great place. Always nice to know you are not alone. Hubbys are great, but they can not truly understand. I have done 3 rounds of Clomid with no success , so now on Dec 7th I go to a fertility specialist. So good luck to you, me, and everyone.

Hi. I'm new too. Also done 3 rounds of clomid, no success, and 2 of fermara (which I'm really unsure about anyway). Do you know why you're infertile? Are you ovulating?

You're not alone....

You have all found a great place. I have only been a member for about 2 weeks, but I have found that this place has been my little salvation. Even without postin anything, I still come here and read what everyone else has to say.

As for your situation, sorry to hear about your m/c. I would definitely talk to your doc and see what he/she suggests is a good next step for you.

schrodie~
due to the fact that you are not experiencing infertility problems, i suggest that you no longer post in this forum. your words are hurtful. in your profile you say you joined us to offer support. where is the support? until you have walked a mile in my shoes or anyone else in this family (because that is what we are) you are no longer welcome. numerous people have sent complaints about you.

one more thing...i hope you feel good about yourself. what good did you do for you or anyone else on the forum? whatever has happened to you in life that makes you feel joy from causing others pain...sorry. but we aren't the type of ladies to let you come in here are stir up our peace.

Ladies, I'm sorry that I didn't see this post sooner and thus take care of it before it left a bad taste in your mouths. Remember that this is indeed a place where people come together for support and encouragement. Let's continue to do just that. Get the negative out of here and let's work together to build each other up once again. It's a new day!

me too

I am also new to this site and I have been through IUI with no success and now I am going through IVF. I think I am going to be having the retrieval done this week. I know exactly how you feel. My best friend got pg with twins on her honeymoon, and my sister in law is about to have her 2nd child. I know it's hard and I hope that everything works out for you.

Red face

I guess I'll post here since I'm new too! I'm very excited to have found a place to learn and get support. We're getting ready to start IVF and I really don't know what to expect! We are going to be doing ICSI. We have a male factor infertility problem. My husband had a zero sperm count in his annalyis, but after a testicular biopsy, it turns out he does produce it. So, we're very excited that we have options! I have an eight year old son from a previous relationship. I am conflicted because after five years of struggling with infertility, I'm relieved that we have a chance. At the same time, I don't want to get my hopes up! Any advice? How bad are the injections? How about the moods with all the hormones? I know I have a lot of questions, but I have no friends who have gone through this, but lots who are pregnant!!!

Thanks!
