I wanted to share my IUI success story. I got a BFP on my first round of IUI with Lupron, Follistim, and ovidril. I tried for 15months w/ 3 months failed clomid and 3 rounds of injections failed when my RE added on Lupron to shut down and restart my system and IUI together. I am now 18 weeks pregnant with a girl. So it can work the first time. Good luck!!

After 3 cycles on Clomid w/o ovulation, I have gotten pregnant all three times doing IUI with Gonal-F. While 2 of the 3 pregnancies didn't work out, our hopes are high for our current pregnancy!

Hello-
Girls is there anyone out there whos IUI worked with 50mg of clomid the first time? Also I would like to know if there is anyone out there where the clomid worked for you alone without an IUI having been performed. I want to hear all stories hold nothing back please. I am really wanting to be informed of what could and could not happen.

Ive had 2 IUIs and both made me concieve. We lost both pregnancys very early and are on our 3rd IUI cycle. SO good luck

6 months of Clomid never worked for me but we we lucky to have success on our first IUI trial after a SLOW intitial response to the medication. 7 weeks left and counting

I conceived my son on 1st IUI which according to my dr. was very lucky. I have failed 4 IUI's this time around and have moved on to IVF. IUI's are cheaper and easier though. I would recommend giving it a shot a few times.

I first did four rounds of Clomid with IUI and got each time! I was very distraught adn didnt' know what to do. The doctor stated that the next step is Injectibles and my hubby and I were all about doing what we needed to do to have a baby, but we were not prepared for the cost! Well we decided to wait and save soem money... I called the RE office to tell them I got my period and she said okay lets start some injectibles... Told her about our money issue and she put me on hold. 10 minutes later she comes back adn tells me that she has just enough meds for me for FREE!

Needless to say I took the chance at free meds and here I am... a !!!!!!!!!! I couldn't thank that kind person who donated their meds enough! When I thought I couldn't get my miracle... I did!!!!!!!!

I believe I was pregnant my first IUI, but it didn't implant due to thin lining from Clomid. 2nd IUI I had a chemical pregnancy and this IUI I am awaiting my first u/s on Thursday. I'm a big believer in them if you don't have issues that prevent their effectiveness. Hoping Thursday proves I'm an IUI success story!
