I have been on this site many times in the past year with my own pregnancys and miscarriages and today I am here for a totally different reason. I know alot of you have been blessed with a pregnancy and Im so happy for you. My brother was diagnosed with lukemia and cord blood could cure him and others like him. While your planning for you little one, I wanted to plead for everyone to concider Public Cord Blood Banking. Its completely free and Avail in almost every state. If you cant afford the 2000 bill for private storage then you could do this. And if your child did get sick, you could use what is in store if it hasnt already saved a life. Please, while your planning for your miracle, your childs cord blood could save a life. A few minutes to discuss this with your doctor could be what saves some one. I did donate with my first and after the birth of my child they took some blood and that was it..they sent me a kit in the mail and I gave it to my dr for them to use.
I agree helping others...I call this the giving circle!
