Daily Prayer Chain

Hey Everyone,

I was trying to think of a way we could all

for one another. Here is the idea: everyone who would like to be prayed for post a reply to the thread and everyday come to this thread and say the prayers for yourself and everyone else that wants to be prayed for that have posted to the thread. As time goes on we will list all who want to be prayed for and we will update them as everyone recieves their

I know this can work, Prayers are Powerful!!!

Prayer #1

IMMACULATE virgin Mary, you were pleasing in the sight of God from the first moment of your conception in the womb of your mother St. Anne. You were chosen to be the Mother Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

I believe the teaching of Holy Mother the Church, that in the first instant of your conception, by the singular grace and privilege of Almighty God, in virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race and your beloved Son, you were preserved from all stain of original sin. I thank God for this wonderful privilege and grace He bestowed upon you as I honor your Immaculate Conception.
Look graciously upon me as I implore this special favor: (state your specific request or intention here!)
Virgin Immaculate, Mother of God and my Mother, from your throne in heaven turn your eyes of pity upon me. Filled with confidence in your goodness and power, I beg you to help me in this journey of life, which is so full of dangers for my soul. I entrust myself entirely to you, that I may never be the slave of the devil through sin, but may always live a humble and pure life. I consecrate myself to you forever, for my only desire is to love your Divine Son Jesus. Mary, since none of your devout servants has ever perished, may I, too, be saved. Amen.

Prayer #2

Prayer #3

O good St. Gerard, powerful intercessor before the throne of God, wonder-worker of our day, I call upon you and seek your help. While on earth, you always fulfilled God's designs; help me, too, always do God's holy will. Beseech the master of life, from whom all parenthood proceeds, to bless me with offspring, that I may raise up children to God in this life and heirs to the kingdom of God's glory in the life to come.

Please pray that dh's motility increases enough to fertilize one of my eggs (with out medical procedures)so we can be blessed with beautiful healthy baby

Please let us see a heartbeat for our FET baby on 8/20, and allow us to have a healthy 9 week pregnancy. God if this is your will, we will raise happy Godly children.

I pray for all of you every night! Please pray that my ultrasound will go well and the pregnancy will be successful! 1,2 or and boy or girl, I pray that God gives me what I should have!I have been a nervous wreck and I am sure I am not fun to be around!

I found this prayer which I really like as well.

Almighty Creator
Hear this fertility prayer and wishes of the heart.
You know my deep deserve for a child -- a little one,
to love and to hold, to care for, to cherish.

Grant that my body may conceive and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby in your image.

Guide me in all my choices so that the concceptiion, my pregnancy and my baby's birth are in line with your will.

Heavenly father and holy mother hear this prayer of my heart, mind and spirit.

Amen..

Off to church to pray for us all...

Praying ~ I think the key to praying is to be very specific in what you want and faith is believing that God may not grant us what we ask, when we ask, but that he has a reason and plan that is bigger than we could ever understand. Faith is such a hard thing when we ask and do not receive. Just was thinking about this, this morning, don't know why.

Barbara, I'm going to church soon too, let's ALL share what we learned and what the lesson is today!

It will be fun to talk about the lesson and not just all of our fears of wanting or needing those babies, it can be so consuming

!

I went to church this morning and the homily really hit home. The priest talked about how there are times in your life when you question whether or not God is there for you and sometimes things happen and you ask why did God let that happen. He then went on to say that God is there, helping us through, teaching us and loving us the entire way.
He talked more, but this was the main focus. I feel so much more inspired and, as weird as it sounds, ok with what is happening in my life. I know in my heart that one day my prayers will be answered and all of the struggles that we all go through will assist us in never taking things for granted and for being thankful for all that we are fortunate enough to have in life.

Val ~ I love what you learned today.

I am always more motivated when the service seems to apply to my life and I can understand what I'm guided to do!

Today at church the pastor talked about:
Matthew 18:3-4
"I tell you the truth, Unless you change and become like little children, you will never endter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven"

The pastor talked about being open to the Lord's teaching and becoming a "servant" of God

. He talked about how our lives would be COMPLETELY different if we tried to be servants of God as God wants us to be. It was a very interesting concept, and I want to try to be a better servant!

Mommie2b - This was a great thread to start. As you already said, "prayer is a powerful thing!"

Barbara - The prayer you posted the other day has been my nightly prayer and during the day when I find myself getting a little "wound up", I tend to simply say, "Lord, your will be done" because although I want a baby so bad, right now, I could scream...I have slowly but surely come to accept and believe that it is about His will.

Please add me to the prayer list, specifically I am praying that my little bean is continuing to grow and that everything will be developing properly at our next ultrasound.

Ladies, May God Bless each and everyone of you and may he grant you all the desires of your heart.

Footprints in the Sand

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

It was ironic how Monsignors sermon was about "being thankful for what you have and not what you dont have" Which I am truly thankful for everything I have in my life, especially my family, and this thread.

I really LOVE this thread, as with God all things are possible.. God Blessed my husdand and I with a pregnancy through IVF. I am now a little over 2 months pregnant. I am praying and ask for your prayers for a healthy, and normal baby. I go for my scan in 3 weeks and then a more intensive one in 7 weeks. Please keep me in yor prayers.

I love that prayer, I actually meant to put that one on the prayer list and forgot about it. I pray that one everyday as well.

Hopefully more members will reply to our prayer chain.

Remember come to this forum everyday and as your praying for yourself pray for others that have replied to our thread.
