Hey ladies,

I am currently in my 2ww for the results of whether or not I have Uterine Cancer.

I swear, I take two steps forward to go 15 steps backwards.

So here is what happened to get me to this place. I was having some vaginal pain. Not burning or itching. Just some severe pain, so I go to my RE and he says lets do a sonogram and get some cultures.

While he was looking around he noticed that the thickness of my lining was unually thick, measuring at 28, when normal range he said is anywhere from 8-15. He was very calm, and said, that we know I have two of the three causes of that happening, 1. PCOS and 2. I don't ovulate. So to rule out the 3rd we must do a biopsy.

So now I sit and wait. I can tell you the "what if's" have taken over some kind of bad with me.

I think the wait is the hardest part.

I go back on Sept. 2nd to find the results.

Keep me in your prayers please, and also if ANYONE has a story they can share please do so.

Wow, after everything else you've already been through, hearing this possibility must just suck. I'm so sorry you're sitting through this 2WW, but hope that the thick lining is just because of the other two factors you already know about.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this on top of everything else. I know the wait isn't easy, but try to keep your thoughts positive. Having said that, I was a nervous wreck until my biopsy results came in (Mine was cervical, however).

I saw in your sig that you have PCOS, which is making me think that's the reason for your thick lining. I say this because when I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum, the US tech kept INSISTING that I'd had uterine surgery, but I never have! My lining was just abnormally thick due to the PCOS.

For whatever reason, clomid did the trick for me (I know it doesn't work for everyone) and my lining was perfect when I went in for IUI #1.

I will that your results are clear and that this can be easily treated.

Oh Sy!! I am so sorry you are going through this! Please know that we are here for you while you wait for your results. Will you get your results on back on the 2nd? I will keep you in my thougths and prayers. Big hugs to you girl!!
