I have never personally never heard of this, but I am not surprised! I mean your whole body is changing, so why not add on some hair? haha!

Hairy situation
Dont worry it is all the extra hormones and prenatal vitamins, I to am hairy anyway but lately my legs look like a bush and as soon as I trim my underarm hair it is right back in a day or to. As far as the tummy there is usually hiar there anyway, but it just gets darker and courser.
good luck

Yep!! I was a hairy naval momma too!!! I didn't like looking at the hair on my belly so it HAD to come off!! I have to admit that I shaved my belly!!! I used the Schick Intution razors. It comes with a soap like disposible cartridge that fits on the end. It works great and I only had to shave my belly every other couple of weeks. And when I had to shave my legs it was quick and easy especially when my growing belly would get in the way.

I've been shaving my belly too - it is totally normal with the hormones and vitamins but it is disconcerting because it just looks really ugly. All part of it though - I wouldn't be worried!

I don't have a fuzzy navel per say but overall my belly is way fuzzier now than it was previously. I just saw my doctor today and asked about it...yup, just another lovely "side-effect" of pregnancy. Sexy, right?!?!
