Dhea

I have read so many things about DHEA and RE said originally they won't use it because there's not enough know about the benefits or side affects to prescribe. Recently, my RE said that there has been some interesting new reserach done showing that there could be great benefits. I am confused about whether it helps quantity by producing more eggs or actual quality of the eggs or both,. It makes sense that if it creates more, then there's more to work with so there could be some good one produced but can it actually change the quality of the egg itself. Also, I saw a post for wheatgrass, is this a good supplment and are there side affects?

Hi, I don't know the answers to the questions about DHEA, but I know that it has been discussed before on this forum. If I remember correctly there was a lady in her 30's or 40's who took it, and she ended up getting a lot of eggs. The clinic she went to then did a research study. I can't remeber where it was, but if you search this forum, I bet you can find the information. About the wheatgrass, I don't think there have been any studies, but they say it is good for everything. I think the freshly juiced wheatgrass is best. You can get it at some smoothie and juice franchises, and I think some starbucks do it. The taste is not that bad once you get used to it. It did give me heartburn sometimes, though.

Someone posted a link to a video about DHEA on the IVF forum yesterday. It may answer some of your questions.
