Well lets see. For the past 2 years AF has been like clock work. I am talking every 28 days at 6:30am. Leading up to AF I would have major sore boobs, bloating, headaches, moodiness, brownish spotting (sorry TMI) and nauseau. Well this month I had NOTHING. DH and I BD on the 25 (I was due on the 25th) There was a little bit of blood thought nothing of it. Then a few hours later I had t small amount of bright red blood and assumed I was a day early. No biggie. I put in a plug and went on with my day. Went to change it and it was white NO BLOOD! So i ignored it. Then Monday came and there was a grayish brown discharge only when i wiped (sorry again TMI) then it stopped and then nothing. So I did not do a HPT because I wanted to wait and not get my hopes up. Well AF came today...4 days late. i got my hopes up and got a little excited. I feel so stupid. I am so mad and angry, I just want to cry.

I am so sorry. AF always wants to play with our emotions and get our hopes high. I have had one or two cycles where AF was just a little late and I always get my hopes up.

So sorry sweets. I have been where you are and know how hard it is to keep going when every month leads to heartbreak.

Remember that every girl that got her BFP this month had a BFN last month. Your day will come.

I'm so sorry, this is a heartbreaking situation. Everytime I was a little late I would get my hopes up, how can you not?! But I did learn that taking the HPT was my ticket to AF starting shortly thereafter. Stupid system!

I'm so sorry. It's so difficult to go through the cycle of hope to devastation every single month. Please don't beat yourself up over it. You're NOT stupid, just stuck on this hope roller coaster. I just finished reading Waiting for Daisy (EXCELLENT book) and the author says she's, "hope's b!tch". Aren't we all? My cycle could be anywhere from 28-33 days, so whenever it was on the long side I'd get hopeful, too. It's hard not to, even when you try to talk yourself out of it. Like Jen, as soon as I'd POAS, AF would come within a day.

I'm so sorry!
I don't know how you don't get your hopes up. It is not like you can keep track of everything through the month. Like best baby dancing days, ovulation, and when AF will come. That your going to forget when the time comes. I keep getting told to just not think about it. I wish I could! Then when you are late you are going to think maybe, just maybe it will be this month. I am so sorry that it wasn't your month, baby dust for next month. I really believe it will happen, for us all.
