Hmmm..i dunno why the Menopur stings when i push it in...I actually let it sit for a few minutes before i inject, it seems to lessen the sting A LOT! But i tried to do it right after i loaded the syringe and it stung a lot more than i imagined....so if anyone is using Menopur i would suggest to let it sit for at least 5 minutes to let the medication settle (cuz it's powder and H20) It helps!

I will be using follistim is that the same as menopur?

Follistim is different from Menopur..i do Follistim along with Menopur and Lupron. Are you doing the Follistim Pen? That's what i use, it's easy and relatively painless in all ways.

Hey bepositive - I started my Lupron on 4/27 and my stims on 5/9. Just did retrieval on Fri 5/22, so we're pretty close. If I had known this forum was out there, I definitely would have joined sooner and shared my experience!

Hi ladies. How is everyone doing? Enjoying the holiday weekend? DH and I have been taking it easy... went fishing yesterday and stayed home last night. My sister and her boyfriend brought my niece over. She is 8 days old and they couldn't stand to be home anymore. She has not been sleeping a lot at home but she seemed to do fine here. Anyway, I am getting a little nervous about my US tomorrow. I haven't had many signs that my eggs are growing. Early on I felt like my ovariers were pretty full but that feeling has kind of tapered off now. Just a little of that feeling is left. Tonight I will be doing 1 vial of Bravelle and 1 vial of Menopur. It is my first Menopur so I don't know how I will respond. Some have said that it stings so I am not looking forward to it. I will actually be at my parents for a BBQ this evening when it is time for the shot so I guess I will just pack everything up and do the injection there. My family knows that I am doing the treatment so it's not a big deal... just kind of a pain. Maybe the Menopur will help me to feel like something is happening with my eggs. Time will tell, I guess.

When is everyone having their ER and ET?

I just signed up in this forum. I had my FET on Thursday 21st and had severe leg pain on Saturday just like I do for PMS. My period is on 27th. I am very upset about it.

My ER was on Friday (5/22). ET is scheculed for Weds (5/27). Definitely nervous and anxious. DH is in basic training right now, so that's no fun

No ET yet, but oddly enough, I had numbness on the surface of my right thigh and pain in my right calf after I started stims, but the pain in my calf went away. The numbness in my thigh still springs up, but it's not constantly there like it was, so I 'm guessin I just pinched a nerve during my injections? IDK. The same thing happend to my left thigh after 1st lap (incision opened up on that side, and she put it in a weird position on my stomach), and that stayed numb for the better part of a yeah. *shrugs*. who knows.

Did anyone end up with OHSS after ER? My abdomen is steadily feeling fuller, even though I actually lost a pound, but I'm having pretty bad pelvic pain, and of course it's beautiful outside, and all I can do is rest.

Anyway, wishing everyone tons of luck and !

Hi girls! Hope you all are doing great...Well i got the GO today for my Trigger shot...I am going to take my Trigger shot at 12am tonight and then have a blood test appt tomorrow then on Thursday at 11am is my ER! I'm nervous, yet excited..it's all happening!!

ET tomorrow for m! I'm a lil nervous. They confirmed today that I ended up with OHSS after ER. There's a moderate amount of fluid in my abdomen, and I'm super uncomfortable

Hope this doesn't complicate things with ET...

I will be doing my trigger sometime tomorrow and then my ER will be Friday! My RE was very pleased with how things looked today. I had about a dozen potential follicles. Both sides had a 18, a 17, and a 16 plus quite a few others around 14. And I think one side had an additional 17 and the other an additional 16. I can't remember! I was so shocked that I responded so well. My E2 levels were high too so that was good also. My RE said my lining looked awesome. I am still so ! I hope they continue to grow and stay healthy!

Airman'sBaby- Good luck at your ET tomorrow too! What symptoms of OHSS did you have? Just being uncomfortable and having fluid in your abdomen?

I am not miserable, just pretty bloated and have some cramping and some twinges. Also, I think that as my urine leaves my bladder, I feel discomfort. Not before or after, just right as it is coming out. Sorry, TMI. Anybody know what that might be? I don't think it has anything to do with OHSS so I'm not worried about it. It may just be muscles or something contracting. IDK!
