 !bepositive- 15 eggs is  great!!! It's a great beginning. Did you get general anesthesia or twilight when they retrieved your eggs? Went to my RE appt. for u/s today. Still 5 eggs, all measuring the same 12-13mm. I started antagon shots and continue repronex 225 and 75 follistem for 2 days. Trigger shot on Saturday...and Retrieval on Monday June 1st  How is everyone else doing? wb2

I was put to sleep, it was awesome..was pretty nervous...all i remember was being wheeled into the surgery room and then my arms being layed out straight and then the anesthesiologist said that the medicine will burn just a little bit going up my IV and then to close my eyes and next thing i know....i was in recovery room waking up. I'm cramping just a little bit but not as bad as i thought.
15 eggs really make me happy.. Dr called me and said 14 of 15 were ICSI'd and the one that wasn't, wasn't mature enough, but they will wait tonight to see if it matures enough to be injected..its' ok 14 of 15 is pretty darn good. hehe I will find out tomorrow how many have fertilized..i am that ALL OF THEM ARE hehe...wish me luck..and good luck to you all as well. HOpe all is well with everyone...

I am now a wife...i have yet to accomplish being a mother. 1 beautiful furbaby Gizmo - 3 years oldMay 2009 - IVF #1 5/28/09 - Egg Retrieval 5/28/09 - 15 Eggs retrieved 6/2/09 - ET, 2 blasts 6/15/09 - Beta #1 1283!! 6/17/09 - Beta #2 2336 6/19/09 - 1st Ultrasound - 1 little bean spotted and 1 more little Bean is seen but not too clear yet as it might be a little too early. Will check again next week! 6/26/09 - 2nd Ultrasound - Saw 2 Heartbeats! TWINS CONFIRMED!! 7/2/09 - 3rd Ultrasound - Saw my Twins heartbeats again, and everything looks fantastic!! 7/10/09 - 4th Ultrasound @ 8 weeks. 7/17/09 - 5th Ultrasound @ 9 weeks. Babies growing normally.  7/23/09 - 6th Ultrasound @ 10 weeks. Finally saw my little ones moving! They are quite the dancers! Beautiful little babies.  to all!

bepositive- Great job on getting 15 eggies! And all but 1, if not all, were fertilized! That is awesome.
I am hoping to follow suit tomorrow. Although, I don't think I will get more than 10 or 12. I am starting to get nervous about the 'being put under' part of it! I am such a wimp but I always get emotional when they start talking about it and prepping me for it. I am that all goes well and I am sure it will. I will let you all know how it goes when I can. Hi everyone!!!
Here us my updated fertilization report for today: 15 eggs retrieved yesterday 14 eggs ICSI'd 1of the 15 eggs was not mature Today I get a call from my RE and be said: 9 fertlized perfectly 2 they are still waiting to see if anything progresses 2 abnormal 1 degenerated The 3 that are either abnormal or degenerated can not be used..therefore right now I have 9 fertlized and usable..I just hope it stays that way!! I am tentatively scheduled for transfer on Sunday and Tuesday, they will determine the best day by Sunday morning and call me to confirm. Wish us luck!!! Hopefully BFP soon!

Boy, was I wrong?! They ended up retrieving 26 eggs! I cannot believe it! I am not sure why there was such a difference from Tuesday. Then, only about 12 to 14 were measurable. I just hope they are good quality eggs. I am still really tired and my stomach is a little upset so I am headed back to bed. I'll let you know tomorrow the fert report. BePositive -15 eggs is great news!!! That is so awesome that they almost all fertilized! Keep us posted on when you go for the ET. I'm on Sunday morning. I'm nervous too, but looking forward to it!

Stephanie - Glad you also got good news on the eggs! Hang in there and hope you feel better soon! I was out of it about two days after my retrieval, but it passes! Keep us posted on your progress!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I just got the call from the nurse and I was wrong yesterday... I thought they got 26 eggs but it was actually 21. I must have made that number up while in the fog of the anethesia! (sp) 21 is still good though! Anyway, 18 were mature and 15 of them were fertilized. DH and I are super excited about everything. More than likely they are going to wait til Wednesday June 3rd for a 5dt. I can hardly wait! I am feeling much better today, a lot less pain. The progesterone shot wasn't a whole lot of fun last night though so I am not looking forward to those.

Stephanie- That is amazing 21 eggs!
And you have so many that fertilized also! Wow! Amazing!You made me laught about the progesterone shots! Ouch! That is the worst part of this IVF process. That, and the waiting.... Bepositive- excellent news about your eggies fertilizing. When is your ET? Lala- How are you holding up? Tonight is trigger time! I have to take my shots at a party. The joy of injections.... Positive vibes to everyone!

WB2-Thats too funny taking shots at a party, I took my lupron shot in my car last night. I was out working and couldnt get home. I felt like i was up to no good. so silly.

hi girls!!
Just got a confirmation call from my RE today and he said that i'm a GO for a 5 day transfer this Tuesday.. Tonight i start my Progesterone and Estradiol Valerate Injections as well as the baby aspirin and continuing my Medrol and Tetracycline pills. Any tips on having an easy (if possible) progesterone injections..kinda scared. yikes! DH will be giving me these. my way to
