Congrats Airman'sBaby! If you need a military friend to chat with let me know, I am Air Force as well! You know the military will pay for most of the IVF, you only have to pay the lab fees, hopefully this will help you out with #2!

I am now a wife...i have yet to accomplish being a mother. 1 beautiful furbaby Gizmo - 3 years oldMay 2009 - IVF #1 5/28/09 - Egg Retrieval 5/28/09 - 15 Eggs retrieved 6/2/09 - ET, 2 blasts 6/15/09 - Beta #1 1283!!  6/17/09 - Beta #2 2336 6/19/09 - 1st Ultrasound - 1 little bean spotted and 1 more little Bean is seen but not too clear yet as it might be a little too early. Will check again next week! 6/26/09 - 2nd Ultrasound - Saw 2 Heartbeats! TWINS CONFIRMED!!  7/2/09 - 3rd Ultrasound - Saw my Twins heartbeats again, and everything looks fantastic!! 7/10/09 - 4th Ultrasound @ 8 weeks. 7/17/09 - 5th Ultrasound @ 9 weeks. Babies growing normally.  7/23/09 - 6th Ultrasound @ 10 weeks. Finally saw my little ones moving! They are quite the dancers! Beautiful little babies. to all!

Lala, bepositive, & Stephanie - couldn't have gotten through the process without you guys! Your 's are right around the corner! Tygerlilly - looks like your time is coming up in the near future!!! I wasn't aware that the Air Force would pay for all this. I have my own insurance through my (now former) employer that covered the whole thing except for the PGD, which we had to pay for out of pocket. DH is ANG at the moment (not sure if he wants to go full-time; wants to see if he really likes it first) so I wonder if it makes a difference? IDK, we're new to this- he was just sworn in on Jan 10. Still learning the ropes.  I definitely wouldn't mind a military friend! Feel free to PM me anytime, or use one of the messengers to get ahold of me. Always for 's for all you guys. You know I'll be here for you!

Hey All -
Just wanted to share that tomorrow is my big day. I wasn't nervous before, but I tonight it hit me that tomorrow I will know one way or another. So I'm a little jumpy now. Not sure how well I'll sleep. The blood test is bright and early, but I doubt I'll get the results till after noon. I will let you all know when I hear. I'll be thinking of us all and saying a special prayer tonight!

Congrats Amber! Yes, the military covers majority of the cost. I am not sure how it works for ANG, but AD is covered. I only have to pay for the lab fees, and that is nice b/c this is pricey
I begin my micor lupron on the 24th and transfer on july 13th so I am excited.

hey Amber. During your 2WW did u have any noticeable pregnancy symptoms and did u ever POAS before your first beta? I am going craaaazy ! My beta is not till Monday June 15. Help!

bepositive - I definitely had some breast tenderness, and I was pretty emotional, but that may have also been a result of the STRESS! I managed to resist the temptation to POAS before my first beta, but did it for the novelty of it after my dr called me with the results. I definitely know how you're feeling right now. Just try to stay busy. You're only 6 days away. I know it seems like forever, but there's one thing you can be certain of - there are 24 hours in each day, 60 minutes in each hour, and 60 seconds in each minute. No matter what you do, time will pass at the same rate, and Monday will come. Check out my blog (link is in my siggy). I did some posting there during my 2ww. You may find some humor in it, reading what I was feeling, and knowing what the end result is. Stay busy. It'll be here before you know it!

Hey All! Guess what?! My test was
!!! I'm ! I am SO happy! Now the only question is "how many embryos took"? Not sure when I'll find out - I was told probably not for another week or two and even then there's no guarantees!My in-laws are already making me want to rip my hair out and my family is giving unwanted advice so I guess everything is right in the world! Thinkng of you all and waiting to hear more good news from you guys!

Well, ladies I poas this morning and now I wish I wouldn't have. I'll tell you how it went and see what you think. I poas then let it sit on the side of the bath tub (behind the shower curtain because I was afraid of what was happening
). Then I waited a second and pulled the shower curtain back. I only saw one line.  So I am thinking why in the world do my boobs hurt so bad then... maybe my beta will come back positive... blah blah blah. I am thinking so many things while I am brushing my teeth. When I finished, I thought I might as well throw this stupid stick away and as I picked it up, I think I see a very very very faint 2nd line. I freaked out. I didn't know which result to read. It was suppossed to be a rapid result one so I shoul have known in 1 minute but by the time I was done brushing my teeth it was probably 3-5 mintues later. Do you think it is still positive? Oh, I should have listened to DH. I told him to go look at it after the 5 minutes or whatever and he agreed that there was a 2nd line and then scolded me for poas. Not really, he just really wishes I hadn't done this to myself! What do you guys think?
