 I am notin the stim phase yet, but I start Lupron on the 22nd. So not too far behind you!

THat's great!!! I'm on 6th day of stimulation today and actually had an appt for U/S and Bloodwork..everything is normal and going as planned...
My possible Egg Retrieval is next Wednesday May 27. I will keep you updated on my status as it goes..AND i hope you do the same. Wish me luck! and GOOD LUCK TO YOU AS WELL...

I am now a wife...i have yet to accomplish being a mother.  1 beautiful furbaby Gizmo - 3 years oldMay 2009 - IVF #1 5/28/09 - Egg Retrieval 5/28/09 - 15 Eggs retrieved 6/2/09 - ET, 2 blasts 6/15/09 - Beta #1 1283!!  6/17/09 - Beta #2 2336 6/19/09 - 1st Ultrasound - 1 little bean spotted and 1 more little Bean is seen but not too clear yet as it might be a little too early. Will check again next week! 6/26/09 - 2nd Ultrasound - Saw 2 Heartbeats! TWINS CONFIRMED!!  7/2/09 - 3rd Ultrasound - Saw my Twins heartbeats again, and everything looks fantastic!! 7/10/09 - 4th Ultrasound @ 8 weeks. 7/17/09 - 5th Ultrasound @ 9 weeks. Babies growing normally.  7/23/09 - 6th Ultrasound @ 10 weeks. Finally saw my little ones moving! They are quite the dancers! Beautiful little babies.  to all!

I am currently doing stims also. Today was my 2nd day of Bravelle. I'd love to talk with others going through a similar situation during a similar time. I will probably be doing my ER on the 30th or 31st. My next appointment is Tuesday after 6 days of stims. How many days of stims did you do before your first check? I think mine is kind of late. What if I am not responding? It will be too late, I think. What do you all think?

I got my box of meds today...WOW!! A bit overwhelmed. The progesterone (sp) needle is scary!! I hope all goes well with you. We need all the support we can get at this time. I hope to see a for the both (All) of us!

First IVF cycle, terrified
HI, I am new at this, but I thought It might help me get through the In Vitro process since I am already obsessing about every single step. It looks like I will receive my meds in the mail tomorrow and will begin stimulation on Sunday...What should I expect as far as side effects?
Good luck to all of you who have already started the shots...

Stephanie - Hi! Here how's my schedule went when i started my shots.
April 7, 2009 - 30 minute consult with RE April 12, 2009 - Visit from AF (Aunt Flow) April 16, 2009 - Started BC Pill April 17, 2009 - Was given my IVF Calendar which looked like this:
May 5, 2009 - Start Lupron 10 units May 11, 2009 - 1st Dr appt since start of Lupron and also LAST day of BC Pill! May 15, 2009 - Start of Stimulation
May 19, 2009 - 2nd Appt with RE since start of STIMS. So as you can see i see the RE everyother day now..i think with me, he sees me a lot because i have Polycystic Ovaries and he wants to monitor me to make sure i don't get OHSS...i'm more proned to that because of my condition. I hope that all wasn't too much information. hehe Tabby - getting the box of meds was a little overwhelming isn't it?? It actually isn't all that bad, i think i'm getting pro at it to be honest..hehe i give my self all the shots, that is until i start the Progesterone cuz i know i can't reach back to my rear end, so i'll need a little help there. hehe TABBY AND STEPHANIE, i wish you both luck on this journey...i will keep ya'll updated on how i'm doing with the treatment... HI Toby...
Don't be scared, yes easier said than done, but it really all isn't that bad...honest! I think we just psyche ourselves out thinking about all the needles and meds we have to take and all the drs appts...but honestly, as long as you have a great RE and a great office you go to, it is pretty easy, until of course the 2WW..i am not excited about that unless i know for sure i'll be BFP! hehehe as far as side effects..i haven't had any that are too noticeable..i am on my 6th day of stimulation and i'm starting to feel just a bit more bloated because my ovaries are growing but not as bad as other people have said, i am only on day 6 so it might get worse, i'm not sure yet. I have noticed i've been up and down with my moods but not too bad. Good Luck to you...

Hi Girls,
Well I am off to do my 2nd HSG!!! UGH! I had a Lap Hyst done about a month ago and the RE took my right tube and rebuilt my left. As long as the tube is open I can start meds. Wish me Luck! The RE thinks it is open but wants to make sure. I will post later. T

YAY Tabby! So great to hear the AWESOME news! !!
The shots aren't that bad, honest! Lupron is really easy, small needle and in the abdomen...just make sure you don't put the needle in slowly, if you do it that way, then you feel it. I usually just do it really fast...then push the plunger slower..medication doesn't hurt...but i usually just (excuse the language) "stab" my skin fast so that i don't feel the pinch..it works! The only medication that burns is Menopur...are you going to be on that? I'm getting used to it by now but at first it was not fun. Good Luck!

Hi all! I'm posting over at the May/June IVF thread too, so if this is a repeat--sorry! I'm on my second day of stims (Menopur and Gonal F). I haven't noticed any stinging with the Menopur as it's injected, but I'm having some wicked side effects!
Bepositive, I'm right behind you!! Hope your ER goes smoothly! Mine is tentatively scheduled for the 30th. Keep us posted on how it goes for you!!
