Hi,
I don't know about the grapefruit juice but I have heard about the pinapple. My acupuncturist encourages me to eat pinapple after my IVF tranfer because she says it helps with implantation. She said you can eat any form, fresh, canned or juice. Good Luck ![]() |

Thought there would be more to post on this subject about drinking 100% grape juice or eatting fresh pineapple.
I started eatting the fresh pineapple now alone with the core. Read a place that said to eat the core of pineapple as it will help with implantion. Also drink 100% grape juice too. But only eat the pineapple an core for 5 days an grape juice too. Just one glass of grape juice for 5 days too. Hopeing an for a this time around if not wil be going for IUI very soon...

There are a number of older threads about eating pineapple, grape juice, and turkey during your cycle. Just run a search on those words and they should come up.

Not to sound mean or anything but I want to find up to date information on this topic not back in 2007. Would like to know if anyone that is up to date has done this an worked. I don't like old information as sometimes it is no good. More up to date stuff is more helpful than back in 2007..
That is why asking this question is wanting up to date stuff. Thanks anyways.

There are threads that are newer than 2007. I started one last fall (2008) and I've seen several since then. There have been so many threads about increasing egg quality, embryo quality, sperm quality, improving odds, that people may be tired of posting over and over. Search for pineapple, grape juice, turkey, or royal jelly, and they'll come up.

My wife ate fresh pineapple for five days after her successful FET. She is pregnant, although there is no way to say whether the pineapple worked. Figured it couldn't hurt so why not?!
Also, I have pretty extensive surgery 2 years ago and it was suggested by my surgeon to drink pineapple juice as it helps with healing. I think the thing with pineapple is there is an enzyme in it called Bromaline (or something like that) and also Vit. C. Both are supposed to help with healing and immunity. Most of the bromaline in canned fruit is destroyed during the canning procedure because of the high heat....so fresh pineapple or pineapple juice is best. But, we were willing to try anything and everything. So we tried accupuncture regularly for a few months; a regular diet that balanced (almost completely equal) protein and carbs at every meal and was based on lots of vegetables and whole grains; pineapple core; lots of dates; and just being with one another and building our relationship. Whether it was one of those things or a combination of all of those, we were successful and we are expecting our first child within days. Good luck.
